Awesom story. Makes you really think about how short life really is and how we don't take the time to do things we should be doing. I see a trip in the future!

Hedge trimmers work good. Just take alot of extention cords and a generator.

Scottyboy, I think you guy's are doing a dang good job with what little help you get. There are alot of miles between agents and it can get pretty hair in some of those pursuits and stops. Keep up the good work and thanks for your PROTECTION of OUR Border. I know it is a up-hill battle but I respect you and your BP brothers for what you are doing! Thanks

place it on a tree and sit down about 200 yrds away and wait. You'll get something. I had one broke into last fall, it sucked it had some good tracks going to it.

I personally don't care to hunt when it is still 110* outside. I would rather go to the mountains and save those units for the winter hunts.

Get a good recorder and watch the race when you get home.

Congrats. nice deer Doc.

That sucks!

If you have adjusted your trigger on the savage you might have to tighten it up just a touch. Savage is a good rifle I have one and it shoots 1/2 groups easy with 150 gr NBT's .The trigger can be made very smooth and very crisp if you work it right. Good luck with it. If you don't want it any more e-mail me I'll buy it.

I feel for you redbeard, Congrats on your deer, it will make for some great memories later on in life.

That would be nice, maybe settle the dust a little bit and green up some of the grass. Most of all it would coolus down for a while.

I think if there is access from a different way they can block off one of the roads if they do it on private property. It still doesn't make it right for them to charge though.

I would require a job for myself and my wife.

Bowsniper, I am right there with you. My 13year old Rott. past on today after I left to go check my cameras. She was gettting pretty weak, we where going to have her put down on Monday but she did not make it . She was a good dog, you could trust her with your kids as if she was the mother. -
That bull looks like a bull my buddies son got last year. The side with 7 on it is even on the same side. Congrats!
