SIGN ME UP! I think that would be a very good idea. They could make this be like a tax credit for evry day you spend out on the front line of the border you get say a $250 tax deductionfor the year of service.

  7. "HAVEN"T SLEPT IN 3 NIGHTS" ? Are you on METH! HEEEEEY JUST KIDDING, I have tried to have a few differnet pictures posted and they never made it. One that I tried to get posted I was told it was a mule deer shed, (which I knew) and it never made it . Oh well I know what it looks like. Also the Picacho elk picture I sent in didn't make it, oh well. I just look at all the other pictures everyone else sends in. CHD I think the pictures you have posted are good.

    Colorado Muleys

I saw a awesom 9x7 in september in Trinidad. I think it was poached. I reported it to the Colorado dept of wildlife, but never heard anymore about it. It had to have a 24-26 inch spread and in velvet.

    My spring bear hunt

Hey, the main thing is that you had fun, and learned some more country. Yea it sucks mud that you didn't even see one, went through that last year in #29. I wasn't hunting but a good freind of mine that is just getting into it had a tag. He has been hunting for going on to three years and is getting frustrated with it. I just keep telling him to be patient and he will have his day in the field. He gets good oppertunities but can't make the connection.

It usually ends when you are back to camp and it goes " and thanks for this ice cold brew"
  14. I don't have the writen law of Wyoming, so I can't tell you what the law is there. I guess in Wyoming it would be more like W.R.S. . Yes common sense would tell you to not place a trap at a tank, but it looks like the owner had no" COMMON SENSE"!
  15. A.R.S. Title 17-301 , subsection "D", states you may not place any leghold trap, or instant kill trap on state owned, state leased, or USFS, BLM, National park, or US D.O.D., state parks, any county, or municipality land. In other words you may only put a leg hold trap on private property.
  16. That's what hunters are all about. Taking care of wildlife, and enjoying nature as we are a part of it. That is a very cool story.

Maybe he was so hairy that they started to flush some ducks and had to wait for them to migrate back to the north. Is he related to Larry the cable guy?

    Gun Control

Look at the statistics on robbery , rape and violent crimes since ccw's have been allowed . I guess you coulnd say I'm old school but I have no problem wtih concealed weapons in the right hands. "A unarmed person is more likely to be a victim than a armed person".

    trail cam

Good luck with it . I just set out a couple of salt licks today so hopefully they will get some action and I can set one up on them. I scored on three salt blocks and three trace mineral blocks from a feed store that shut down and needed to clean up some of the stuff, they said they had already told some of the feed lots that they could have some of them other wise I could have got more.

    good news

How can they know how good the fawns and calfs will survive the summer when the rains just happened . I think that it would take at least a year to start seeing any difference in the herd size and health. There is still a lot of variables to be looked at I hope they don't over draw our game and end up hurting the herds more.
