WHAT RIFLE TO USE IN UNIT 33?

If you use the 250 I would use the Nosler partion 60 gr. bullet. It is a little slower than the 55gr. but it should buck the wind a little better and have good retaining weight which will help on penitration.

    San Carlos tag

Buy a small game tag to scout , you don't have to shoot anything, just carry the gun. It worked on the whitemountain res. with squirell.

    Nice Coues Deer buck

Sorry I blew up, I looked at the pistures again and the third picture does have a mesquite tree in it I was paying more attention to deer than the details around the deer.

    Nice Coues Deer buck

Those trees to me look more like juniper trees. At least thats what we call them.

    Nice Coues Deer buck

Like they say, " there is always a critic in every crowd" No appreciation for someone else's work. Nice deer, hope you can get a shot off at him in a few weeks.

    Need advice on handguns

I am kind of fawn of the rugers I've a number of them and love them. The gp100 is a sweet double action and the blackhawk is a sweet single action. I like the 6" barrel for hunting and the 4" for protection but either one is a good shooting gun.

    Legal in AZ????????

Lark, I thought that was you (.270). I'm glad to see you join the group. I wondered if you where ever going to or if you would just fade out. I have to admit that I don't always agree with what you say, but it makes the reading more enjoyable. Anyways glad to see you join in.

    Email response From Primos

Thank you for your support. It just goes to show how much you are for the little man and not in to it for the support of the rich. Thanks again your product has an even better rating with me and others.

    Residents vs. Non-Residents

I would also help, it's about having a good time. Now if they look like Al-quida I Know they are S.O.L. . Think of it this way do you think they would help you? I think they probably would.

    caliber ?

I have taken two wt deer with my 22-250 and the furthest one walked was about 15 feet. That shot was from 274 yards out using a 55 grain bullet. The other one was a spine shot at about 250, it dropped in it's tracks. A .270 is also a good round I've been using 130 grain ballistic tips and they seem to work great.

    unit 32 early hunt

Try hunting the east side around sunset loop or the west side around jackson cabin. It will take some hiking in to find them but take your time and glass and you should be able to find some good deer. By the way is this for mule or wt.

    Arizona looses court case!

There again Lark, or is lark. I guess if a gun kills a person it is the guns fault, if the game and fish committe makes a bad choice it is all the people that work for the game and fish, and if you are caught drinking and driving it's the officers fault. You need to grow up and learn to look at things in an adult way. If everyone thinks like you I hope that you do not get a chance to hunt anymore. It's people like you that will end up ruining it for everyone, but you will not see it that way. A voice of many is heard more than the voice of one, so maybe what you should do is to start a petition on the problems you are having and take it to the state. That might do you more justice than being mad at the unit managers. I wish I was in the position to just jump up and go to the meetings but I have a family to support and responseabilities, I hope that when you go to these meetings you sit down and think, is it the field officers I am sitting around making the decisions or is it the committe that I am looking at.

    Arizona looses court case!

I just got through reading about 2 1/2 hours worth of venting and thoughts, I stand with most of you on them. I am a resident of AZ. and have been all my life. I do not agree with the ones that say they are going to have hatered for the game and fish field officers. If you know anything about law enforcement (which is what these guys are) they field officers don't make the rules and the decisions. I can not say they are to blame. You should blame the commision people making the decisions. I wounld have to defend the officer in the field, as he is merely the messanger, not the Director, or commisioner. To sum it all up I did not draw any tags for this fall season. I will have to just become a better bow hunter. Again I am not trying to piss anyone off I just hope USO goes to heck and out of business. Good luck to those who don't know if they have been drawn yet.

    how's huntin in unit 32?

This unit has a very good density of deer in certain spots. I am 3 for 4 in this unit and all are within 1 mile. I could not even begin to tell you how many scouting trips i have had but I can tell you that it has paid off. One kill was opening day at about 7:15, one 2nd day at 2:30, and one 2nd day 8:45. My dad hunts with me and it's always a bet to see who gets the bigger deer. One year we both killed out at 7:15 and both dropped our deer about 15 feet apart. It was high five time then, then the work began we had hiked in about 1 1/2 mile in this canyon in the dark with flashlights. Oh my dad won that year. He bagged a 3x4 and I got a 3x3.
