Cameras are an addiction of their own. It starts with one picked up and strapped down for curiosity sake. Then you get the pictures, all down hill from there. Better angles, different trails, water, salt, high angles and low, now more pixles and maybe video. All building to the full fever because there is no season, it's forever. Then the inevitable liberated cam, astonishment, anger, revenge, new camera, lock box, chain, hiking in further, hanging higher, a second camera to cover that camera. I love it and wouldnt trade it for anything. It is fun and exiciting. Might even get bigfoot one day!

Custom Firearm Engraving
Hunterjohnny replied to dbengraver's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
That is some beutiful work. Amazing what engraving adds to a firearm. -
There are huge amounts of people that buy these for 50 cents on the dollar. The seller gets cash to get what they want, and the buyer gets a lot of food. Seen it happen many times.

We have had to take a few LR shots with kids... but it is far more fun to teach them to hunt. Good luck and hope you all have lots of success! Thats funny right there! -
You bet! We need more laws and our Government needs to spend more $$$ it doesn't have inforcing these useless laws... Who Cares how many cameras are in the woods?? Sounds like capitalism at work to me. Amen brother!

Dove Hunting Poll

I have a friend that is good, but I assumed the question is at me. I have never seen him go halfway through a box for his limit. I am always yelling I'm out and running for the truck. But here is where our lines of thinking split and the results wind up like they are. He is having the best time when he's focused and sure he will get it, many birds pass by. I dont get out often and I love the blast of a shotgun. I have no intention of having left over shells. What do you mean that's too far....bang..bang..bang... yep too far. I enjoy shooting and shooting. When else can you hunt and blow through 50 shells standing in one spot. I have not been out with friends though in a long time. They still like the same haunts, and the many birds in them. I no longer have tollerance for people. I cannot get peppered and not get mad. I cannot watch someone swing their gun following a bird and shoot when I'm in the background. Used to be more patient with it, but there are just too many stupid folks out there. It is a funny sport because it will bring out the best and absolute worst people. Ever seen the lawn chair and beer style? The ones that show up after its light and park next to where youve walked too? -

That one is great, a friend had a whole omlet made up in there, mmmmm. Boiled and eaten in no time flat. -
For sure it is. Just like others said its an online hunting magazine. I get to gather all the biggest antlers and never break a sweat. If no one bragged we would have no pics to motivate us so I guess thanks to all you braggers, my time will come.
-
Good luck with that one. I think I am gonna set up a trail cam in my back yard and see if anything is slipping through on me. You might not be as happy!
-
Are you serious! Right there in the back yard, I thought you all just had coyote's runnin around. Thanks for sharing, your camera gets nice clear pics.

If you browse boards in other states everyone has the same problem, not a local deal. And while we can encourage each other I dont believe that we can change enough peoples lack of morales to put a dent in this. It certainly does say something about our fellow countrymen doesnt it. Just my opinion but nothing is going to change until there are actual beat downs from this. This is a route that seems pretty good to me! Who doesnt have a broken cam laying around!
