A family lost their kids. Whether it was a dumb decision or not a dumb decision doesn't really matter. Those kids are gone. Nothing this State or the dipstick Feds can do to them will compare to the horror they will live through EVERY TIME THEY CLOSE THEIR EYES. That isn't entirely accurate. I have had it. Didn't take long to kick it, and didn't really kick my butt nearly as bad as it did others I know that had it. But it is a real thing. Not all BS. I'd probably go with Comp Cams or Cloyes Double Roller with adjustable timing. Plenty of good info sites on that engine. TMeyer makes great parts fod upgrade including some fixes for low oil pressure.

You won't wake up that engine without a cam and timing set that doesn't retard cam timing. That will be night and day.
