  1. TTT...lowered price. Rifle and rings only. Scope is sold.
  2. Whoever did this one dis a good job. I had one done by Van Horn after that sucked. Was almost dangerous. I ended up learning to fit a Timney with some helpnfrom the Owner there, and have done those since. This trigger is a good hunting trigger though. Not too heavy and not too light.

    Need a good AC guy

We are now hearing a 30% price hike in January when the R410A units will no longer be sold. Also, there was word that the new refrigerant "could be" explosive. Ugh. Another case of Guberment overreach.....

    ISO: Scope for 7PRC

What rifle is it going on? I know caliber...what brand/model?
  19. I am a little late to the party on commenting, but if you shoot factory ammo and want the best accuracy at longer ranges, the 7PRC is really hard to beat. Factory loads, the 7RM will be slower because the bullet seating takes up effective powder space. Handloads, yes you can definitely beat it with the 7RM as the case IS larger and it will hold more powder when the bullet is seated farther forward With a fast twist and heavier bullets you will get the same PRC inherent accuracy. Then again ... there is the old "it's belted" and not as accurate argument (which I am not sure is really valid). The 28 Nosler, which I also own, is one of the best Hot Rod rounds in 284 ... but some say handloading is finicky. I shoot factory stuff and mine is a laser. It is flatter than the PRC for sure ... but accuracy isn't as good. Factory loads my son's 7PRC built on a Tikka with a Proof Barrel is the tightest shooting gun in the safe. Easily 1/2 MOA at 100, 200 and farther. He shoots 4-5 shot groups in a nickel with Factory. We are working on some handloads for it now, which I am sure will be tighter, but to be that good with Factory Loads is pretty decent in my limited experience. My Nosler is close at 100 and 200 ... maybe even a little better on those shorter distances ... but farther out it does start to wander more. Not saying it isn't still great. My son is better than I am (better vision and better trigger discipline) and at Saddleback he never misses the gong at 700 with either gun ... but watching through the spotting scope and filming it, you can tell which one is closer to center more ... the PRC is much tighter at that distance. Can you go wrong with any of them? NO. But Factory vs Hand Loading does matter when you are hunting at longer ranges and want to make sure your energy is right for the distance. That said ... I've never killed anything farther than 200 yards away ... though my son has. I just tend to wait for that closer shot...at least I have to this point.

    Frustrated By Potential Buyers

Maybe...but some people are just dumb, y'know. Not worth the effort....minimal though it would have been (whether or not the attitude changed). I figured his interference didn't really affect me that much. AND I got my $1400 anyway.
