I have a chance to buy a never used Swarovski AT80 spotting scope with a 20x60 eye piece. It has been sitting in a safe for 25 years and is still in the original box and packaging. I know there have been upgrades since then but I would like some honest opinions on this scope. Also What would be the feeling of a true value of this scope?

Thank you, I would have never thought of this. I appreciate the tip. Any members using a AT80?

Anything I should know before buying a trager?
Phil Carr replied to Crazymonkey's topic in The Campfire
Louisiana Grill less money and twice the quality. I loved my first Traeger even my table top. My brother bought a high end Traeger and it would never stabilize the heat. Yes they sent him parts but still not right. I bought a new Traeger would not work. Found the auger slipped on shaft and it could never have been tested. Called Traeger and the lady told be it was impossible to have a bad auger. I had to completely disassemble and take pictures to prove it was a bad auger. It was improperly welded. I was told it would be 7 to 10 days to get the part. I hauled it back to Costco and received a refund. I turned around and bought a much nicer Louisiana grill for several hundred dollars less. Works beautiful. Set it and it holds the temperature. I believe that the guys that started Traeger sold the company and started Louisiana grills. Traeger has lost my business for ever. They have let their quality slip. dang shame. -
https://gordon-ramsay-recipe.com/tag/smoked-horse-meat-recipe Issue tags. Like the old saying. I'm so hungry I could eat a horse.

I can only imagine how relieved the owners are.

You should post this also in the lost and found section as it may get some additional attention.

I hope the dogs make it back to the owners soon. I lost a dog for half a day once and I was in panic mode. Its times like these that guys can really appreciate a GPS tracking collar. The good news is the id collars should get them home when found.
-
Sell it and use the money to buy something you will shoot and enjoy. Its not like its a classic that will appreciate much over the next 20 years. Send it to your dad or send it down the road.

I am selling a Garmin GPS 2 dog tracking system. All are in excellent condition and operate great. The equipment comes in a hard case. Please PM me and I will respond in the order the PM’s come in. I live in NE Tucson but will ship. $550 picked up at my home, or $575.00 shipped.

Just a few reasons for those that have not used the tracking collars to own a set. I like to hunt birds and want to know where my dogs are and when they are on point. Hate wasting time searching for a dog that has gone on point. I want to get to my dogs fast and shoot them a bird. I don't like dogs that are boot lickers, I want them way out in front covering ground and finding birds. I hate the feeling of a lost dog and a set of collars are only a fraction of the value of even one dog. Like all GPS systems I like knowing where my truck is as well as the ability to mark waypoints.

These are back up for sale. A member wanted them so I held them for him for a month. I cancelled the deal. Please let me know if interested. GPS tracking collars are a incredible tools for serious bird hunters.
