Shooting straight is important. Teaching kids how to hunt, stalk and shoot a deer at reasonable ranges, I might argue is equally important. I am not against some of this equipment and may purchase a rest for my tripod as Im not as steady as I once was. A steady rest for these kids is a great idea. That said, I will probably leave those 1 shot one kill 1000 yard shots to the 10 year olds. I am just not confident to make an ethical shot at the ranges many of these kids are shooting at deer. No disrespect intended but I have always enjoyed hunting deer. Not just pulling the trigger and killing a deer. Im sure there are lots of Granddads, Dad, Uncles and friends that make sure these kids get the full experience. To those, you have my highest respect even if that includes long range shots as long as they been practiced with those kids before the hunt.

My card was hit for $25 on the 25th. Luckily I have my original email notification from Chase. I took a look at my G&F account to see what I drew and it still shows pending. I Thought I would see if possibly I had any additional hits, and now my Chase Credit card account no longer shows the original $25 hit. As anyone else experienced this? Last year I had put in for turkey and Javalina and had 2 $25 hits, then one disappeared. I called G&F and was told I wasnt drawn for turkey just Javelina and that they had accidentally billed me twice. I will call my bank tomorrow to find out why I no longer see a charge.

It would appear that these Aholes have been lying and cheating for years. Im not a tournament fisherman but I find it hard to believe that Millions of dollars can be at stake and yet the organizers are not using hand held metal detectors like the ones used in the food industry? Good detectors cost only a few hundred dollars. Im guessing even the $29.99 detector would detect a 2 lb. Weight.

I would like to remove a Pro cool Swamp cooler from my roof. I used it for a few years but then upgraded my AC and never used it again. No chance I will ever use it so I would like to remove, cap the duct in the attic, and patch the hole in the roof. I can do cash but when ever possible I like to barter. I am selling my Aerocool Pro 6800 CFM side draft cooler. The cooler was purchased by me new and used for 4 seasons, before I installed AC. It has sat on my roof unused for over the last 15 years. It’s not rusted up and corroded inside due to the design. The only rust at all is on the roof mount rack which can be cleaned and touched up. These sell for over $2000. Plus the rack is extra. I have removed it from my roof in preparation for a new roof and solar system, and is ready to be picked up. It will need a few things, pads, 2 new pumps. The plastic liner is in decent shape has a small crack which can be repaired or for less than $200 you can install a complete new liner? It comes with the electronic controller. This unit although has faded paint will give you years and years of service. I live on the NE side of Tucson and if interested you can come by and inspect. I would like to remove it this week $200. It’s not light so you will need a few guys to load it.

I bought the same reel about 35 years ago, still going strong. Mine is Gold. I bet if you call Dave’s feel service in Illinois he can answer any questions. I packed up three of my reel including my ABU and had him go through all of them. They came back as nice mechanically as the day they were made.

I thought I would post again. My last posting kind of got lost when others looking for a roofer posted to my post. Imam located on the NE side of Tucson. I have removed my cooler and have the duct work completed. What I need is someone to replace shingles where the cooler was mounted. I have the matching shingles. Probably an area that is 10’x15’. This Would not need to be a company but an individual that is a professional and would be able to a good job. PM me if interested. Possible trade work for guns, ammo, or simply pay cash. Thanks Phil
