LEICA LRF 800 Range Finder for sale $150

They are great, just have Leica binoculars with built in range finder so they do not get used. Very accurate, only draw back is they only go out to 800 yards and as well all know there has not been a whitetail taken under 900 yards in AZ for over 3 1/2 years........

    Chair for blind

I am looking for feedback from members with first hand experience on chairs used in blinds. I hope to find something that provides great support and is comfortable for sitting in from daylight to dark. Thanks in advance.
  7. These buffalo hunts sure seem low key. Hoping to hear how the last two hunts have gone. I am headed up next week for my cow hunt. Starts on the 23. Hoping to harvest one with my Winchester 50-110. Weather should be cooling and drying out I hope.

    Unit 1 Thefts

I guess I'm from the old school, things seemed so simple back in the day. It all started when Slick Willie could not determine what sex was. ( heck Hillary bought into it). Then Hillary doesn't know that a Capital C proceeding a paragraph means means " Confidential" on an email. Now we have people trying to redefine Stealing. " I'm so confused". I only know in my family if I did what Bill did, and tried to convince my wife that " I did not have sex with that women" I would have got a boot in my butt. Had I shared an email, that even common sense told me was confidential outside the " Need to Know" personnel. I would have been fired. Finally you can dang well believe that my 4 kids. Now productive and responsible adults knew, and know what stealing is.

Kaibab archery Cow Buffalo - aug 12th---25th

There are a number of ways to look at this. Russ is a professional that operates this as a business. He is paid by clients to help them to harvest their once in a lifetime bison. Then there are others that do not hire a guide that also wish to harvest their once in a lifetime bison. Those that do not hire a guide are encouraged to avoid scouting. Hence they are not setting up blinds days in advance, putting out salt or cameras in order to limit the amount of possible disturbance of the buffalo. This is a unique situation as there are only 10 hunters for each hunt, but limited areas to hunt. This area is public land open to all hunters equally not just those that pay. The real problem is who gets to hunt where? When we go hunting for any other game animal on public land we hunt where we wish within reason. I have been calling other hunters from prior hunts, some successful and some not. I have narrowed down the area I wish to hunt. I realize that salt licks have been maintained, blinds are in place, and some hunters have paid for a service. But should the do it yourself guys be denied a fair opertunity to hunt a spot simply because they did not hire a guide? I would happily put out my own salt and blind as well as cameras. The reality is the hunt is in really not what I had visualized when I put in for a tag, But I plan on being a team player. My feeling is here are herd animals and there is a high probability that a herd may visit a salt. This provides multiple chance for several hunters to haven't a buffalo. I will not have any issue if there are several people wishing to share a salt with me. Will call Russ this week so I can better understand how blinds are "assigned"

You might want to post in the Lost and Found area above. Items posted in the classified area move quickly towards the bottom due to the shear number of postings. Good luck finding your bow.

Kaibab archery Cow Buffalo - aug 12th---25th

G&F recommending aiming for the heart. Tough animal that can get back on the Park after being hit. No experience on my part, since my hunt does not start until September 23.
  21. Anyone heard if any Bison were taken on the hunt that ended today? Also good luck to the archery hunters starting their hunts tomorrow.

    SPOT or Sat Phone?

My brother carried a SPOT. While hiking the Az Trail. Pretty cool because it allows people you give permission to the ability to watch your progress on their computer. It allows you to send short preloaded messages also. Better yet is the ability to send a SOS which will allow rescue efforts to respond right away. For a small fee you can purchase $100,000 worth of emergency insurance. My opinion, this is a great devise for the money if a person hunts off the beaten path, especially if they hunt alone.
  24. I am looking for your recommendations for a SD card reader for IPhone 6 and IPad. I'm not a real tech savvy guy and looking for feedback from those that use theirs in the field for checking game cameras.
