I would go with the razor 12x50s over the 10x42. A little more power and super lightweight. I have them and love them. Save money and get a used pair then send them in for service and they will come back like new

What's your price range? What power bino's are you using? For $105 you can get a Slik pro 330ez on amazon which is a great setup for the price. If money is not an option then an outdoorsman is a great tripod

Get it nice and hot and soak the plugs in wd40 or pb blaster. 9 times out of 10 you will get them out. Afterwards I suggest you start it up in an open area ( not a garage) because all the soaking liquid will need to burn off. Makes a lot of smoke

Newer models have locking diopter and the eye relief is shorter. The older ones are good for people who wear glasses. Glass is the same just minor adjustments were made
