Pigs are few and far between in redington area. I got one back in archery season just east of chimney rock. There's only one place that I can say I know there will be pigs every year. 8-10 years ago there were herds everywhere. I just don't understand what's happening to them???

Their peppers are the best in town. I have yet to find a place that stuffs the peppers with cheese and wraps them in bacon besides them. I always get a couple extra with my dogs

Been in that unit about 12 days the past year and havent seen any illegals or smugglers. We were as far south as mile post 7. Seen the helicopters almost daily though...guess ive just been lucky. Ill be out there this weekend camping. Hope my luck continues
