It was a chip shot at 30 yards and using the GraveDigger Broadhead...I would post the damage but it would traumatize even the most hardcore hunters..it was dead before it hit the ground..I will be honest that I was having WAY too much fun!!

Managed to get this bird on the ground with my bow,great hunt and saw a few birds as well as mulies and antelope...called in 1 yote and we bagged that too...good luck out there and be safe..

I was only kidding with everyone freaking out over the whole debate....haha

Stacked up 4 more yotes and I was 4 for 4 today..great day calling and the new rifle shoots awesome!

I was using the Carver Rabid Rabbit call and bullets were the Federal AR .223 50 grain Ballistic tip...broadside they werent bad but angled shots they get pretty blown up...just getting started on the predators for the year...see you guys out there..

I have the 2013 Vortex Crossfire II in a 3x9 x50 with the V-Brite illuminated dot crosshair...this at 3x pretty much aims its self...3 were running shot out to 100 yds and the farthest was about 150 standing..cant say enough about the setup...

Great day calling,not so good behind the gun,called in 7 and got 3.......better than not being out!! They came in all day long even in 100 degree heat...these Carver calls keep amazing me...good luck out there!!

Thanks guys..by the way,I had lots of questions.. so here goes,I did a quick freehand duracoat camo paint job and its a Savage model 10 26" barrel with Choate A-5 stock and topped with a Vortex Viper PST 6-24x first focal plane scope..heavy -YES!! Accurate- YOU BET!! Calibrated to 1200 yards...these shots- get this, no more than 120 yards...go figure...Hope that answered some and I use Berger 168 VLD in front of 41.5 grains of IMR 4895..shoots about 2720 fps..

Mark- We carry them here in our archery shop...I have personally shot them and love it..some may say that the mechanism will open up if you snag some brush hard enough,but it beats having the launcher arms break..other than that we have installed them on PSE Omen's without any contact....just my 2 cents and I will be installing it on my new G5 Centroid on monday..they are a great deal and I dont see the need for the micro adjust version....Nate

Actually, I killed the big one Dec 2008,tagged out Dec 2009 and then Jan 2010...I passed some 100" deer in January 2011...I wanted to hunt more after waiting a full year..then I finally passed bucks here in Dec and couldnt pass any longer..lots of gas and time and I wanted to just get off the mountain....Thanks for looking.

Thanks guys,I passed on some really nice bucks in December.January came and I guess I got tired of passing.I had a for sure thing and it was a great shot angle and was almost a relief to be able to tag out and focus on other critters for a change..again,good luck to all and have a great outdoors,whatever it is you are doing with friends and family.
