Hey,Thanks for all the support everyone!! We really appreciate it and will keep you guys posted as things progress...It put a damper on our Black Friday sale as well as some rentals but we will prevail..Hope everyone has a great holiday season...-- Nate
  2. So Saturday,Josiah and I set out to do some filming..its alot harder than it looks..the action is so fast some times and its tough to get everything on video..but we gave it a shot..We havent edited it so I dont want to post it til I've seen it...but we got 6 sat and was solo on sunday...great weekend out and I did see a herd of mulies and figured there is some pressure off of them..NatureGirl congrats on your first and Brian congrats on all the fox..
  3. managed to have a productive day despite the crazy wind...nice day outside though...

    Winds howling,but 3 are not...

Thanks everyone,it was extremely tough with the 40 mph winds...Just a heads up,The Mule Deer Foundation in Tucson is putting on a predator contest in late January...I am sure more info will be put out as the dates get closer...

    illegal Aliens poaching deer

When I lived in San Diego I harvested a great mule deer along the border east of Campo...by the time I got the truck and came back "they" had dragged it across the international fenceline...I asked game and fish if I could purchase or reissue a tag..they said no and I guess I inadvertently fed a foreign family??

    PSE Full Throttle

Already ordered the new 370 fps bad bleep bleep in 80lbs...cant wait to get it!! Gonna be a long wait!!! Anyone else got their sights on any new bows? I did shoot it and its better than my Omen...stacks fast, but it is smoother dropping in to the valley..at 60 lbs and 30" it was shooting a 485 grain arrow at 302 fps....through a biscuit...at 50lbs and 28" it still shoots a 390 grain arrow at 290 fps....just saying...

    Favorite coyote gun??

I love a good ole 22-250....55 grain bullet works as it was intended....but I would have to say my Armalite...its dropped more dogs than I can recall....
  15. There was a question regarding the wet coyote in front of my rifle..yes he is wet,I shot him off a canal berm at 500 yards and he fell in...that was a highlight moment there...there were a ton of misses that were chip shots...yes it happened to be a bad day behind the trigger overall...and to boot the disk wasnt formatted correctly on the scope mounted camera(which is now up and running) so NONE of the 11 impact shots were recorded..complete bummer!!So I apologize for not having the video to add....Good Luck and Have Fun-- Nate
  16. Its the new Vortex Crossfire II..3-9 x 50 V-Brite..can illuminate the center target dot like the leupold firedot..handloaded 53 grain v-max in front of 23.5 grains of IMR 4895...with that 20" barrel it is stupid accurate...and never jams ....
  17. Okay- here it goes..I went into a totally new area and it just looked great..I pulled over, walked 200 yds. and setup..first three notes out of my call and a double came in..dumped 1 and missed the second...next stand near an orchard, setup,BAM!! 30 seconds in a front chest shot at 35 yards..next stand nothing..then I find a 2 track that hadnt been driven in a very long time...I setup..5 minutes in BAM!! another double dropped 1 and buzzed the second..next stand at other end of 2 track- setup,BAM!! another 35 yard front chest shot..drove about 5 miles and setup,5 minutes in,BAM!! another down at 45 yards...drive about a mile,setup..BAM!! spot one coming in hot! 10 yards running past me, heart shot....I hit my mouth call and a second one was on his way but busted me..I didnt get off a shot at the second..drive another 4 miles and setup,BAM!! dropped another after 8 minutes..another 2 empty stands and the 3rd is a charm..I setup and call for 10 minutes,BAM!! a pissed off yote charges me and I double tap 2 to the chest at 8 yards!! Crazy...I hear another growling and barking as I bend over to pick this one up,I bark twice with my mouth and let out a high pitch pup in distress..BAM!! Dropped this one at 50yards...I am sure I left out the 3 others I clean missed or didnt even get off a shot at...I can just say it was beyond a great day and look forward to the next outing..it was a blast running the Armalite(in 223) thats totally tuned in...thanks for checking this out...
