    and for shooting coyotes...

prefer a 22-250,but until an ar-15 comes out in that caliber,223 it is..like they stated earlier, good enough to drop a man, plenty enough for a yote....

    vanes

if you are talking about bent/folded from target use or flattened from being in a case...heat them up with a hair dryer on high...it works...heat gun is more manly but will damage glue integrity and arrow lamination...

Cover the screen from little ones.........Take and sand the shaft lightly on a 45 degree angle with rough grit..clean with rubbing alcohol..take a good updated bottle(nothing from last year) of glue, find a pen tip like the kind on those clicky pens and thread that onto your glue bottle..it makes a tiny but perfect bead of glue onto the vane...drop 3 vanes in the Arizona EZ mini fletcher and bead away and clamp for 1 minute...the glue will not come out the sides if you have the right amount...tip the leading edge and back end of vane with glue so it doesn't peel off when going through target...I use this setup on my Victory VAP's as well as thousands of customers arrows each year...haven't had any issues...hope that helps...--- Nate

Blazers after trying everything else,I have come full circle....Fobs,AAE,Fusions,....doesn't matter, didnt get any better flight, so I stuck with the most readily available...but to get to those extreme distances(150+),I run a hard helical and they stabilize gravediggers just fine..

What arrows and size of broad heads ???

Technically,29.5 at 70lbs would warrant a 340(7595)...the spine is being saved with a super light head on it stiffening that 400...but overall weight might be only around 350 grains...up to 7595 with 100 grain would be better for sound, kinetic energy and broadhead flight..(if using fixed blade)...this is if you want to switch...to each their own

This is exactly why I posted up...if that module would have came all the way out.....it would have been a deal breaker for the hunt...just glad you brought it in and caught it ahead of time....

    Dont Wait...

Big O- sorry to hear you have what us archers call a problem..." a Job" haha.......a lot of people ask how often to switch strings...I go through a set once a year, but manufacturers will tell you at least every 2 years.....the strings are under hundreds of pounds of pressure and its just a recommendation-depends on how often you shoot....I have seen way overdue strings cause some nasty injuries...glad to see my reminder is helping...I don't want to see anyone get hurt or wound an animal because of procrastination.....

    Dont Wait...

I like to shoot year round, but this year I have been so busy...I am just now starting to shoot broadheads at distance so I am practicing what I preach myself...I am way behind the curve in my opinion....seeing a lot of shoulder injuries this year too....hope everyone gets a chance at something to put on the table!!

In the market for new bow

I would say try them all but definitely the PSE Drive LT at 336 Feet Per Second and $499 bare bow with adjustments to 31 inch draw as well as a 7" brace height is a top pick......and compact too...speed isn't everything, but that's what the guys without it always say...LOL
  14. welcome to the most powerful glock club(unmodified that is)
  15. Just got my hands on the new Ringer release from no limit archery(the gravedigger) and its awesome...!! It is a wrist strap and 3 finger in one..it uses the ring finger Hence the name and acts as a back tension but with a trigger!! Getting stupid accurate groups and is geared toward both hunting and competition...if you guys and gals get a chance try one out,I think you will agree its awesome....Nate

    Bad Day of Calling..only 1

Trophyhunter- if you hunted the reservations its not uncommon to see/opportunity at 20-25 yotes and fox,bobcats...more critters=more bagged...at least back in the days when I first moved here in 2004....I just have a hard time seeing/calling that many..

Thanks guys,I should have had 2 more,I got anxious and left the stand early...saw a triple, but everything was heading out on a mission..they weren't eager to come in except for pup in distress and howls...
  22. After a busy morning chasing mule bucks in the desert this Coues decided to stray into bow range,I figured I wasn't going to pass on this one.....I couldn't be any more jazzed right now,Hope your hunts are doing good and good luck on the future hunts and outings!! Nate
  23. actually Razors first shot rocked that elk,it stood there stunned,he popped 2 more just to be safe, bottom line,it dropped a elk fast as some rifle videos....like I said, underrated with 200 grain bullets.
  24. check out hunting videos,Uncle Ted,Razor Dobbs, many others have shot black bear and even elk out to 100 yards with FULL power loads like underwood, hpr, buffalo bore....corbon just to name a few..its almost a 41 magnum..with 15 rounds capacity in a glock....I carry one always..the most underrated cartridge for woods...
