Got my bull down Thursday morning. Was in really good rut activity the whole hunt.

Once the tags are gone they wont be able to issue anymore. The sooner you call and talk to them the better

I had it happen this year for the same hunt. Got the application returned to me on Friday saying all hunts were filled when there were still leftovers. Called game and fish and explained the situation. They met up with to view the application and got me the tags. Apparently they thought it was hunt 1090 not 1190 which was 24a hunt

Last year portals were updated mid week. Let them do there jobs and we should know by Friday for sure

Had a tag last year and killed a solid bull. Looking to harvest a mature 6x6 whether it be 320 or 360

The elk draw was about 7 days after cards were hit. If it goes smooth again I would think by Friday

I believe what BowNut is saying is that the forest service considers any property left unattended for 72 hours is considered abandoned property. As any hunter knows you are not going to check your camera every 3 days but that is what forest service considers abandoned

This was the first year in CO where an applicant did not need to front the entire tag costs to apply. A huge increase was expected this year.
