Can't wait for the story and pics!!!! Will you guys hurry up already!!!

I really appreciate all the help and the great information guys. It looks like if I were able to cut the tent and just use a tarp and only carry a quart of water and a filter I would be able to lighten the load down to the 52 to 54 pound range. I just need to reread everything and I am sure I will be able to ask more questions about each item individually. Once again thanks alot guys you ROCK!!!

Sportsmans has 60 pound Bowtech Tributes on sale for $550 and 70 pound Browning Mirages for $500. Other than those I would look at the Diamond Rocks, the new Fred Bear Game Over and also take a look at the Bowtech Tomkat. All are great bows that are in teh $400 to $500 range.

The easiest way I think is if you go to www.photobucket.com make an account there and upload the pictures from a file into there. Then all you need to do is copy the IMG link and paste it in your post here. If you want just email me the pictures at azcouesandelk@cox.net and I will get them up ASAP!!! -
http://pcarchery.com/demo/trial.shtml Lets see what you guys can shoot on level 6 with 20 targets!!!

Well my dad, myself and my buddy Cody all had 33/37b archery pig tags so we headed down Monday night to a spot where I had been seeing pigs everyday while helping Mr. Smith and his wife on there December tags. We got to our perch right at first light in hopes of finding some good bucks while looking for the pigs. We get setup and find a decent 2 point right away but decide not to go after it and keep looking for pigs. At 9 or so Cody found the herd I had pegged down in the same spot as always. We all worked our way over there and got on them. I got to 30 yards from one and let it fly. I hit a touch back but still got the liver good and the pig expired within 30 yards. Then a big ol' sow walked in front of my dad at 20 yards and he pumped it right in the heart. This was my dads first ever archery animal on his first archery hunt in the first morning so he is spoiled even if it is a pig . Cody never had a shot opprotunity because the pigs were to low and he never had a clear lane. He went after the pigs and got on them about 10 minutes later and shot his at 10 yards. All of the pigs expired within 30 yards of where we shot them. My dad and I were shooting 2 blade rage broadheads and this is the second pig I have taken with one. All 3 pigs had fantastic blood trails to go with them and the all died fast. Cody shot his with a Grim Reaper and it left a gaping hole and did the job well.

Great job on another pig Tyler!!! Is that 6 in a row now? Just curious how anything can fly better than a field tip I have heard it many times and I just cannot figure out how that is possible. Could you elaborate this for me Casey?

What about the first 4 shots that you hit him did that ruin any of the meat or is it still as good as it COLD be

Opening Morning Triple!!!
azcouesandelk replied to azcouesandelk's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
I think we are going to turn 1 of the pigs into jerky, one we are going to pit BBQ and the other will probably go to Denmark to be made into chorizo and pepper sticks. Thanks alot for all the congrats guys. It was a really fun hunt and I cant wait til next January to try it again. -
I can't believe he blabbed can you guys
-
Big congrats Phil!!! Now go get the big guy in 2 days!!!

I just want to see how close I was on measurements when you do post them MB: 18 G1: 3 1/2 G2: 6 1/2 G3: 5 Total Mass: 12 That comes up to 45 per side then X2 and that is 90 and I am saying he is around 14 to 16 wides so the total I am coming up with is 104 to 106. Congrats again and I can't wait for the measurements
