What about the first 4 shots that you hit him did that ruin any of the meat or is it still as good as it COLD be

I just want to see how close I was on measurements when you do post them MB: 18 G1: 3 1/2 G2: 6 1/2 G3: 5 Total Mass: 12 That comes up to 45 per side then X2 and that is 90 and I am saying he is around 14 to 16 wides so the total I am coming up with is 104 to 106. Congrats again and I can't wait for the measurements

Not sure why that is I have never touched the stuff in my life and never plan to. I think its because I got a lazy eye. Nice looking buck. I am scoring him 90 to 91 Here is what I am scoring him with 14 inch beams 1 icnh G1 7 4/8 inch G2 5 inch G3 10 4/8 inches of mass on each side 14 inches wide I think I am being pretty giving on the tine length also but I would have shot also

I believe the rut is starting up. I watched several bucks this last weekend chasing does all over the place and sparing.

That is a great pickup. I would guess somewhere in the range of 100 to 105 with the busted mainbeam.

Only you would remember the sock in that picture. But no he threw his back out when we were stalking a good bull and we had to call the hunt on the opener.

To bad my spots this year had very little to no bucks. Well there are no bucks now because I harvested the last one there

I was out in 33 yesterday and saw several smaller bucks starting to trail does. All of the larger bucks I saw were within 200 yards of the does. I think the rut might start kicking in or at least I a hope.

What else is there to do besides maybe chasing women! LOL! That is what makes up the other 200 or so days of the year

I have actually been keeping track of how many I have been in the field since January 1st this year and I am up to 124 right now and plan on another 10 or so days before the year is up.
