azcouesandelk replied to peloncillo's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
Thanks guys Does this mean I get to shoot for free tonight Dallas? -
broadheads you guys are shooting?
azcouesandelk replied to firstcoueswas80's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Knees and rump roasts and horns are not considered kill shots. Just thought I would clear that up. Let me be more specific by kill shot I mean lungs and or heart (with one shot hitting him in the spine ) But still those were all kills shots. -

100 grain slick tricks for elk, deer and javelina and I will have some rage 2 blades for deer and pig. I was shooting 70 and 80 yards at my glendel buck with the rage and went 10 for 10 with kill shots. -
Picked up my trail cam
azcouesandelk replied to IHunt2live's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
That looks like a great buck in the making! I also think that is a bobcat or is it the chupacabra -
I dont think lights or wrapped sights should be allowed from now on that is an unfair advantage. And I was doing just fine finding that 12 ring last thursday

azcouesandelk replied to Coues 'n' Sheep's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
I never even saw your reply Gino and that hurt. I have real pets (hunting dogs), and a real bow (not no stinkin' hoyt) -
We would have our entertainment for the night thats for sure. Maybe I could try shooting yours again

azcouesandelk replied to ruppart's topic in Classified Ads
Hey GameHauler I am right at the 6 foot area maybe a touch under and here I am packing out my dads deer in one trip. IT is a very comfortable pack and it should fit you fine. Also mine is the J105 not the 105 -
Oh and by the way Dallas you are in trouble this week I have my 40 pin sited in now Also I will be a year older and more experienced
-
Neat pictures guys. Hope the fire stays away from your dads cabin Ron. Anybody know how contained this fire is and how large it is now?
-
Alright my dad and I both entered so hopefully we have. I need to get some javilena under my belt I am stuck at 1
-
Thanks for the heads up Steve we all need to pray for some rain. It is a dust bowl up there.
-
Hey Ron congrats on getting in another great magazine. I was sitting at work today reading the story again and it never gets old. Good luck on the draw again this year and good luck topping that buck.

The second to last bull has some of the biggest thirds I have ever seen. Great job Gino and good luck this year on getting your Rocky Mt. Sheep tag -
Awesome Velvet!
azcouesandelk replied to COOSEFAN's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
Tell your brother he is doing a bang up job and to keep up the good work and an eye on all them bulls especially that first 7x7. -
Both German made both have good glass. The biggest difference is the eyecups and the coating on the lenses. The minox does not have as high of quality coating and much larger eyecups. Go to a store that carries them both and see which one fits your face better. The swaros fit mine alot better and they are a little lighter.

Most of the trick tanks are holding water and a good portion of the water tanks are holding some water at least. The water level is down and with the lack of rain there isnt as much good forage for the animals so antler growth will be below average (there are exceptions such as over in unit 1 and 27). There is enough water for the animals and with all the projects being done it is only helping. There is always room for more though I will not turn down more water though

Nice job Jim I see you found my trail cam and it is dissapointing to hear that it isnt working properly and I have to post those humilating photos of you Hopefully you will have some time off this August and be able to stick one of those guys unless you decide to get a whitetail.

Great job David keep up the good work. Hope you top your bull from 2 years back. -
How many times do you see this??
azcouesandelk replied to akuritone's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
That is really neat and unusual. The closest unit that has antelope will be the bordering units of 21 and 4a -
That was a very good write up and testing procedure. Good to see that the Diamond Black-Ice ranked so high. It is one of the more popular bows that we sell at Sportsmans. Also the Martin Bengal got the best bang for the buck which somewhat surprises me since it is so heavy compared to other bows and not near as fast, but it is a really smooth and quiet bow which is the most important thing in my opinion

Can you tell?
azcouesandelk replied to bowhuntinmaniac's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
Hard to tell but it looks like a split eyeguard with a short mainbeam coming off. Still a really neat looking buck and not one to overlook.
