My checks were cashed about 3 weeks ago. I also heard about the July 17th rumor. That would be nice but that would be a really fast turn around and I don't think that will happen.

Well I havent been able to post as much lately but logged on today and realized that this will be my 1500th post . I am now working at Sportmans Warehouse off of the U.S. 60 and Greenfield in the archery department (so swing by and say hi). I got rid of my 4 arrow quiver and stepped up to the 6 arrow one so I will have plenty of arrows for all of my misses .I have been shooting around 6 days a week and have added some new stuff to my bow. I took my whisker bisquit off and put on a trophy taker shakey hunter and watched my arrow sail 6 fps faster and saw my groups shrink by at least a 1/3 at close ranges and more than half at longer ranges. Was going to go up to the seen shoot today but had some problems with my bow so decided I would stay in the heat and get them fixed. My winnners choice string came in yesterday so I put that on and threw away my old peep with the tube and put a 2 strand 3/16 inch peep on. After putting on my new string my bow went from 70 pounds up to 75 and my speed went from 274 to 282.5 with 400 grain arrows so I am now at the 71 K.E. mark and am very happy with that. Just a little rant but wanted to give everybody an update so you know I am preparing for my archery bull tag (right bobbyo). Going to go scouting this next week not sure what days yet my schedule might be changed but possibly thursday and friday so if you want to tag along just shoot me a PM. Did one more adjustment. Changed my arrows from 3 fletchings that were 4 inches to having 4 blazers and a wrap. My arrow weight went from 403 to 404 so not a dramatic change. I was expecting a larger jump but after weighing each vane the 4 inchers were 9 grains and the blazers are only 5 grains so that cut 7 grains off and the wrap weighs 8 grains.

This guy somehow draws two elk tags and is now busting on us about our age . Makes me want to complain about the crappy service at the Sportsmen Warehouse archery dept. Can't they get any good help there. Bob Now now I only got one my dad got the other And I dont work at the Tucson store so I can't give you bad service

You should be carrying something a little larger than a .22 at least a .44 if nota .500 for such large game

Bobbyo my old string was so loose and I had the limbs cranked up to 70 pounds so once I put on my new strings which were the length that came on the bow origional which were now 3/4 of an inch less than what my strings were now it made the draw that much heavier without adjusting the limbs themselves. Also it is a neon orange but I wanted to go with hunting colors so I went with the orange and brown with brown serving and I think it looks pretty sweet. Dallas is was great meeting you and maybe this time I will be able to make it up a little earlier and shoot a little bit with you guys. It all depends on my schedule this week. I was scheduled off for Thursday and Friday but that will probably change and I will have different day's off. I was planning on going scouting but I think I will have the days moved up so I can learn a thing or 2 from you out on the range Man it seems that this one tag belongs to alot of you guys

Vortex makes a carbon tripod now that extneds up to 78 inches abd weighs about 2 pounds. It retails for about 300 buti know I am going to get this tripod before October. I have a pistol grip head I am looking to get rid of if you are interested send me a PM!

They definately are thats for sure . We carry a couple of Copper John sights if you want to swing by and take a look. I know when I get my new bow in February I am going to get myself a spot hogg sight I just love how they are setup and how they look when shooting them.

If you go past Reservation lake a few miles you come up on a small lake called Drift Fence. There is very little fishing pressure and there are always alot of fish biting.

Which Sportsmans Warehouse was this at? I work at the Mesa store now and I might be able to figure out who you were dealing with and try to figure something out. Also I was able to meet one of your sons the other day. Real nice guy who spoke very highly of you. Swing by sometime and meet me in the archery department.

Nobody deserves to have anything stolen but lesson learned and applied now.

It was a great shoot this weekend. Was able to shoot a round with GRONG and Ron G. and that was actually my worst round guys. After that I shot a 141, 139 and a 136 so that first round of 127 killed me . Shot my first smoker round and averaged 8 on it and actually finished it. Shot the long shot both days and actually placed second on Sunday only shooting 1 1/8 inch off of dead center in the 12!!! Can't wait for the next shoot.

Had a blast this weekend meeting new people and meeting up with some familiar faces. We will definately have to do it again either this year or next year!!!
