Thanks Keith and Dave for the comments and Keith for going above and beyond to talk to someone that can possibly help! I am not sure if I will be able to make it to the meeting because I have to drop family off at the airport but I will do my best to at least make an appearance and try to voice my opinion.

I am going to the gym here in a few minutes so I will have to get you when I get back. -
People are saying that if we were to get the seasons to not overlap we would have to cut a week off of the archery deer season. How about instead of cutting a week off of the deer season why dont we just bump it up a week? Have it start on August 24th and run through Setember 13th and there wouldn't be any overlaping with the elk hunts! I just pulled out some regulations from 2003/2004 and what they did was for the units that had elk hunts they had the archery deer hunts run from August 22nd til Sepetember 11th the day before opening day of archery elk and the units that did not have elk tags ran an additional week. Why could we not do the same setup this year. There were no complaints back then and everybody was a little happier at least.

Alright I just had the poundage on my bow increased to 72 pounds and am shooting 390 grain arrows (including 100 grain tip). The arrows are flying really good as of now and I am learning to shoot at different targets on each shot Now I just need to practice practice practice and wait for that 370 bull to step out

I know what you mean I had several occasions while driving the boats upstream that one was in the river and they still baffle me on there size. I found several antlers and a couple nice ones (one was off of a moose that would have had a 59 inch spread) and I believe that the antler weighed around 15 to 20 pounds. Wish I had a scale. -

Looks like a good couple of years there Jim. Alot of nice bucks you got there. Just curious how much did the moose head/antlers weigh? -

Thats the beauty of it! He's gonna be after me for this one! He's gonna wish he never took that pic'! ANd you guys think this is just a joke Thats even funnier I can't stop laughing! Nobody is going to want his table....they won't be able to face him when they go to pick it up! Hold on is this really his table for sale or am I just that gullable? -
I realize that I can have a combo hunt but I do not want that on this hunt. I know what people are thinking... if a big ol muley were to step out infront of me and I had a chance at him I would take him. Well in this case I would not. I am up there dedicating my hunt to elk and elk only. I messed up this last january spending all my time chasing deer that I only was able to see 3 herds of javelina. Also the added amount of deer hunters in the field can and will affect a hunt like you said bobbyo. I just want my hunt and everybody else's archery elk hunts to go as they would have before hand.
