Selling a lightly used Swarovski ATX 65 spotter with Swaro protective case. Used on 4-5 hunts, all is 100%. Moving to the Midwest in a month and I'm afraid that I won't get the use out of this spotter it deserves. Absolute best on the market. I have over $3650 into it with the case and tax. $2975

Take this for what it is worth (may not be much). I've always worn scent eliminating clothing for Midwest white tails, mostly because that used to be the only quality clothing I could find for hunting. Many times, if the deer got downwind it was over. However, I recently upgraded scent clothing, even going a step further with high quality scent eliminating base layers. We do the whole scent free shower twice a day too, but this year I have never had so many deer downwind and not bust me. Had a decent buck and doe bed behind me one morning at 25 yards, they could not have been more down wind. They stayed and slept for 3 hours, it was actually annoying after a while. I've always said its a matter of what is a mature game animal worth to someone, everyone will have a different take on that question. To me, killing a giant with my bow is almost priceless, if the scent control stuff helps just minutely, enough to keep that buck there just long enough, then it's worth it in my opinion. I know the stuff doesn't hurt my chances.

I live in the valley and always send Friday. It gets to their box on sat but since they are closed they don't pick them up till Monday, and you're good. Had the g&f tell me to do it that way some time ago and never had a problem.

Work bought me an new phone so I am selling my personal iPhone 4S, 16 gigabyte in black. This is the Sprint model although I think you can have these "factory unlocked" so they will work with any carrier. Glass is in perfect shape, functions beautifully. Still have original box, will come with the Apple headphones, wall charger, and Apple "Bumper" case. $265, probably only consider a trade if it were towards a gun. Thanks for looking.

I have a hunter Ed point, and I have not been so lucky in the draw. Curious what your statistician came up, I believe if we square the points, all is taken care of. It is the sheer number of people in the lower bonus point groups that skews the draw results and makes it not seem fair as the higher point holders tend to not draw the majority of tags (which would seem more "fair").

Hello, The company I work for is looking for some new hires. We are a facility maintenance company, work is very similar to landscaping, with some construction/larger projects mixed in. We are contracted with several large retail companies and are responsible for stores in Arizona and New Mexico. There would be some travel involved, usually one week out of the month. Pay would be in the $14 an hour range (give or take based on skill set), full time. Paid vacation, paid time off, 401K, and health benefits kick in after 3 months of employment. Use of company trucks and equipment during work hours, crew leaders get full time use of iphones and ipads supplied by the company. Our office is located in Fountain Hills, my biggest problem has been finding someone in the east valley where the drive wouldn't be so bad. Please reply or PM me if you or someone you know is interested. I appreciate the look. Jeff

Wife has me on spring cleaning detail, found some camo that I never wear and/or I am now now too fat for. Thought I'd post it up to see if I can find a few good homes. I am located in the East Valley, not real interested in traveling outside that area for the exchange, maybe we could work shipping out as well if you are outside my area. I have lots of kills in some of this stuff..... First: Predator Camo "camp" shirt and pants. Size XXXL on shirt and XXL on pants (pants hemmed for approx 36-40 inch waste). I am really tall and both just never fit right, I think I wore it one time - $15 for both Second: Scent Lok Savannah Pants and mock pullover. Size XXL on both, pants hemmed for 36-40 waist. Perfect stuff for early elk, all buttons/zips good on pants, couple small tears in outer cloth in crotch (fence crossing), a small patch or a couple of stitches would do wonders. - $25 for both Third: Scent Lok Coat and pants. Size XL on both. More of a mid-weight feel (35-60 degrees), jacket is in excellent condition (I got too fat for that one quite a while ago). Pants have a couple pocket buttons missing with a few crotch tears as well. A little TLC could make these great again. - $25 for both Fourth: Primos Bowhunter Vest. Size XXL. Really didn't wear all that much, I did modify by removing the bow holding strap. Perfect condition. - $20 Fifth: Under Armour tee shirt. Size XL. It's the "dry fit" material. Worn 1 time. $10 by itself or $5 if you buy something else with it. Thanks for looking, sorry about the sideways pictures. Jeff

you cannot deduct tuition expense for a non-dependent. Not sure why turbo tax allowed you to last year if everything was the same. If your child has income and files an itemized return, you'd be better off gifting the money to him and letting him pay it, at least he could deduct it then.

Dave, Would your buddy consider a partial trade for the Leica 900? The 900 is as simple as it gets, and I'm looking for the Leica angle comp for long range.

Swarovski 12X50 EL Binocular
DubTee replied to Jay Scott's topic in Jay Scott Outdoors/Colburn and Scott Outfitters
Obviously they will be great on a tripod, I would think the only issue there is how will they compare to 15's. I would really like to know how they are around your neck during hunting/stalking situations (too big/heavy/cumbersome???) and if they can be held steady enough to use effectively off-hand. I have looked through them once and compared to my 10x42 slc's is was like regular to high-def tv. Please let me know about the field functionality, I am sure you'll put them to the test... -
Tines, Very well said. I agree with the others that a waiting period is basically useless as it really doesn't improve anyone's odds enough to make a difference. Squaring points would basically install an automatic waiting period for the more in demand hunts anyway, as low bonus point holders will have their odds drastically decreased.
