I have a 7mm rem. 140grain bt VX3 6.5 x20x50 with varmit reticles The scope was costly but we'll worth it!!!! My gun has taken 5 deer over 500yrds with 700 longest coues shot. The reticles are great and accurate!! Sighted in at 200, second 300 3rd 400 4th 500.. Bottom 600.. Hold bottom head level for 700. Don't know much bout vortex but leupold has be doing good things for a long time!!

A better analogy would be a coues to cotton tail rabbit, mulie to jack. A jack has big floppy ears, gallop run or hop and larger then the cotton tail. Also a cotton tail is more of a grey tone as the jack is more brown... And from what I here a cotton tail taste way better then jack. So flop ear is more suitable.. Lol good fun

ive had the ir4 out for a few months before and still had baterry life. A lot of it depends on video or pics and qaunitys>>> the ir8 has the 6volt and think it will go over 3 months>

Stick to the hand calls it keeps it fun!! Anyone can push a button, hand calls are an art that is soon gonna be dated... I have not been out a bunch this year the times I have, were successful! I use a cotton tail and it seems to works well for all predators! We went out one day and did an every other stand with fox pro, hand call. Bobcat with hand call and bobcat with fox pro.
