i saw some in january off the road while we out archery hunting.. I proceded into the middle of them and they didnt even know i was there.. Before i knew it i had them all around me in the trees running around making weird noises.. I drew back on one bout 40yrds he just stopped and looked at me, then turn and ran off.. I never got a shot off but still a cool experience and they didnt seem to aggresive..

i think it is a whitetail but lacking the mass and eyegaurds that are more typicalyfound in a whitetail

what bout your brothers how did they do???? they better not have missed some big ones...lol

great buck!!!!! the eyegaurd thing is unique... Is there a possability that the area u were in has a gean pool like that??

the shorter tine length shed is for sure a mulie but a couple more pics to compare... i might just be wish full thinking but last year the horn grow was great and i think it could be possible for a buck to grow up faster then mass acumulates

is there any way to tell other than appearance??? by the stamp or anything??

So i put in for the some of the left over permits witch are all down south where i have not hunted a whole lot.. So i picked 34b because of the number of permits aloud and the number they had left... Has anyone hunted this unit and is the low number of permits due to the low number of deer??? Would it be a waste??

that buck looks great... its crazy how in some units there done growing but like this buck he looks like he might not be done by the 21st.. unless im mistaken...I have a good buck that doesnt look like heck be ready by then.. guess we will wait and c>>>>> good luck that is a wopper!!!!!

i think it is a different buck.... The live buck looks wider and also the pick up looks like it crabs on the main beam... witch the live pic looks just straight 4by4... Awsome find and great buck..... start shooting the 75 and smoke him!!!!!!

ac guy if ur so mullie crazy why be on a COUES deer website????? save your breath and go else where...Maybe there is a fantasy carp site youd fit right in

hahaha.... I agree...thats awsome...i have only been on 1 mullie hunt and it just wasnt the same excitement for me like the coues deer...

these bucks were on the 36 highway inbetween i40 and springerville.. so i dont know if that would be in ur unit

for any one who has a lope tag in nm here some pics taken with camera phone...they didnt even spook when i got out of the truck at 50yrds

i have had only 1 good buck come in but he was a nice one 100inch class for sure... Other then that a lot of does, spikes and a bear from time to time.. So i think your theory on the does being more likely to be where bears are would be considered accurate..... Thanks for all the info and i will defenetly look into moving depending on the next couple weeks of pictures and scouting the area..

went out today and got skunked....haha guess i should have thought bout the five skunks i saw in the road last night as some forshadowing for what today would bring... Did see some nice coues bucks though so there is always something to take home from every trip
