that buck looks great... its crazy how in some units there done growing but like this buck he looks like he might not be done by the 21st.. unless im mistaken...I have a good buck that doesnt look like heck be ready by then.. guess we will wait and c>>>>> good luck that is a wopper!!!!!

i think it is a different buck.... The live buck looks wider and also the pick up looks like it crabs on the main beam... witch the live pic looks just straight 4by4... Awsome find and great buck..... start shooting the 75 and smoke him!!!!!!

hahaha.... I agree...thats awsome...i have only been on 1 mullie hunt and it just wasnt the same excitement for me like the coues deer...

these bucks were on the 36 highway inbetween i40 and springerville.. so i dont know if that would be in ur unit

for any one who has a lope tag in nm here some pics taken with camera phone...they didnt even spook when i got out of the truck at 50yrds

i have had only 1 good buck come in but he was a nice one 100inch class for sure... Other then that a lot of does, spikes and a bear from time to time.. So i think your theory on the does being more likely to be where bears are would be considered accurate..... Thanks for all the info and i will defenetly look into moving depending on the next couple weeks of pictures and scouting the area..

went out today and got skunked....haha guess i should have thought bout the five skunks i saw in the road last night as some forshadowing for what today would bring... Did see some nice coues bucks though so there is always something to take home from every trip

has anyone ever herd of or seen a cactus coues deer???? Ive seen the mullies but is there such thing as a coues deer with the same growth??

4 blade muzzy... went threw a shoulder and broke some ribs on a pig at 60yrds and still blew out.. bow shoots 280fps

90 grain muzzy 4 blade...... cant beat the flight... they fly perfect

first mule deer hunt... first day my brother spotted this buck and i was going to hold out for something better..... After watching him for an hour or so i gave in..... I took the shot at 420 yrds bedded.. He got up and kicked a couple of times then rolled over dead...Glad i harvested this buck it still is a great trophy for me.....The hunt was in nov.. 08 got it back feb 2009... [first pig hunt ever and was a blast..... I got one of the left over archery pig taggs and glad i did... My newfew and i went on on a sunday moring archery deer and just hoping to run a cross the little pigies.. He actually spoted them so we went after them and after three shots i finally stuck one.... The shot was bout 60yrds and i had a great angle... She ran about 50 yrds, did a couple of kicks, then procided to roll down the ridge top... Short but sweet.... memories forever in just a day hunt!!!!

there is going to be a good gene pool in that area..... great find!!!!
