With a suppressor it is the way to go. Then your not carrying around a 30” barrel lol

Not sure if I’m late to the game but I like results I am getting. I have one 6creed with 26” barrel but wanting something a little easier to move around for coyotes and backpacking for coues. So I swapped my 22-250 into another 6creed . barrel is 18” shilen heavy sporter prefit on savage action It shoots the 105 hybrid Berger at 2960 with DD can on the end.. I could not be more pleased with speed and accuracy of this gun as well how fun it is to shoot. It is 6 for 6 so far on game doing the job. Anyone else running shorty barrels ?

I have a couple that I have put together and really like. My one is not proof barrel though just a sav 110 with mdt hnt26 and shilen 18” 6mm creedmoor. With the can on it I’m getting 2950 with 105 hybrid. I know this is not the prc your asking about but short barrel data the other is a 28nosler in the ultralight and it is snappy with how light it is

I have pretty much new only range shot hunt 26 MDT for savage long action . It has the arca front but non-folder. I have two of these one on my 6 creed and this one was on my 28nosler ultralight. With how snappy the 28nosler is I prefer the McMillan stock I have for it. An ultralight 28nosler sounds fun until u do more range time lmfao . I have 2 mags for it both for 300wm. The 3rd was shaved on the inside to fit 28nosler round but metal 5round would not run them asking $900 for chassis and 2 mdt mags Brett 480-243-6641
