I'd be curious to know why they haven't introduced doe tags. For archery season if anything. They used to.

I use the tripod adapter that they sellon here for my old Zeiss 1040's they work just fine.

And Guerena was taken nodes out of two bucks over the last few years for CWD testing. If mandatory reporting of harvests pisses off hunters.....who cares. If theirs leftover tags....I guarantee I'll purchase a leftover and help out the over population prediction . Much like they did in the 80's with the ridiculous offering of two tags. I have no doubt for your passion. BUT...... Meeting with wildlife orgs, which I don't know which one your part of, should be a great tool for wildlife mgmt projects. But inform me why your org would know better about harvest rates/populations then the WM? and to pressume that I haven't spent due time with unit 33 WMs is presumptuous in its self. I spent a whole day with McGeehee in the catalinas for a guy I witnessed poach a 100+ and "wasted" a opening morning doing so. The guy got off with a slap on the wrist. Frustrating for me as well as John.

Wow, that must have been a while ago. Even I don't remember that. my dad remembers when it was bank to bank and 2-3 ft deep. he also said that there was northern pike in it. it was awesome. I have a pic somewhere, I'll have to see if I can find it. When I was your age I caught a 17# pike outta there. Used to be an awesome duck hunting lake too. It's been years since I've been there, but the old Mormon lake store Used to have an old scale in there you could weigh your catch on.

Why would I complain to a "wildlife org"? Shouldn't I complain to a game and fish wildlife biologist? You know....the ones that are suppose to decide the well being of our wildlife? Screw the 250,000 hunters. Do what's right by the wildlife.....once upon a time, game and fish officers were not only law enforcement.

no doubt that this is true. But since when has wildlife management ever been decided by the public? Oh wait, I think it was back when we had passenger pigeons.

I'm a 33 guy (wherever that is), for the last 35yrs. Not saying that the amount of deer tags ain't an issue, but the unit doesn't get a weekend off for a long time with all the other species offered. Check it out. Starting from the first archery deer hunt till the last pig hunt. It's seems like that's alot of constant pressure.
