    Moultrie M-100

That's good to know you've had good luck with your M80 camera! It seems most of the newer moultrie's are similar in their design and features. Currently I don't have video on, but will the next time I set them out. Most of the video's I've seen online with the M80's and M100's seemed to be good quality!

    Moultrie M-100

I recently purchased some of the Moultrie M-100 trail cams. After reading reviews on a lot of trail cams it was a decision between the Moultrie M-100 and the Moultrie-80XT. It came down to how much money I wanted to spend and what I would be getting out of the camera. The Moultrie-80XT looked to be a slightly better pick, but for the package I was buying I didn't see a big enough advantage for the price. I'm curious if any of you have tried any of these newer Moultrie trail cam's and what you have thought of them? Also other brands of cam's and how they would compare to them? I've used the cuddeback and for trigger speed they were a fantastic camera for the price, also quality pics for being a lower mp camera, but also lacked a little in flash distance. Here's a pic of the Moultrie M-100, and one thing that's pretty impressive is how small this camera is. Also there are many features this camera has such as video capabiltiy, a flash of 60' that reaches 90', IR night abiltiy, 1.6 sec trigger speed, very quiet when taking pics, great lock box, uses AA batteries, security code available so if others steal it there is no way for them to use the camera! I just put a few of these Moultrie's out so I'll post some pics if I get some! Also check out http://www.trailcampro.com they seem to have a good variety of cams to look at and detailed reviews.

    Moultrie M-100

The time intervals between pictures on the Moultrie M-100 is 15 seconds, 30 sec, 1 min etc...I've timed my cams between pics and it seems to be 15 seconds or quicker between pics. Also you can set it up to take 2 or 3 multi-shots when a pic is taken. I have my cams set on 3 multi-shots, so I should get three pics everytime a pic is taken. Also the IR night time photos are supposed to be pretty good on these, so I'm hoping they come out good when I get some pics!

    Online draw

I went ahead and applied online for this draw. After finishing up I looked over the email receipts, I noticed I had one less $7.50 charge than I had receipts. I'll be making a call on Tuesday to make sure everything went through the system ok.

    Kaibab Deer questions

I know 12B is really hit or miss with seeing any large deer at all. It's mostly a small buck unit, but if you've had success finding large bucks on the early hunt than it might be worth sticking with it. I'm kinda in the same situation, I can't decide if I want to go for a 12A West early hunt or go elsewhere. I had the hunt in 05' with 1,000 tags and after the hunt I never had the desire to apply for it again. I know the big deer are there to be found, but I'm not sure if it's worth burning my points on it...
  22. I was at the Outdoor Expo today over at the Ben Avery shooting range and was wondering who else tried out the binoculars? There was a variety of binoculars set up on tripods for you to try out and compare. There were Swarovski 15x56, Nikon 10's, Kaibab Vortex 15x56, Cabelas 10x42 (camo pair), Cabelas 12's and a Vortex spotting scope. Overall I was most impressed with the Cabelas 10x42 (camo pair at the end.) For the price I thought the Cabelas 10x42 were amazing for clarity, the wide view and ease on the eyes. The Nikon's were horrible IMO, just hard to see through and not very clear. The Swaro's were good as well as the Vortex. Did anybody else try them out?

10 Archery bull- First time I have drawn a

Congrats on a great tag! It will be a fun and challenging hunt, but if you put in the effort to scout and hunt hard you will most likely have success! Last year was pretty wet after the first day of the hunt making for pretty tough hunting conditions during the first week. Throughout the hunt I saw several larger bulls and a few bulls within archery range that didn't present a shot. I was fortunate to call in and arrow this bull on the 12th morning of the hunt! Good luck on the hunt it should be awesome!

    Change of the Rules

I think a lot of Arizona hunters would be satisfied with Nevada's system in squaring bonus pts. Nevada's system makes each additional bonus pt mean a lot more than Arizona's current point system. If Arizona went to the squaring method we would no longer hear Arizona refer to bonus points as bogus points. Your odds of drawing two consecutive decent tags in Nevada's system would almost be impossible, but still allow a chance and it's still no where near a preference point system. In Arizona 1 pt will give you one random number in the draw. 6 pts will give you 6 random numbers. An advantage but not by much.....For Nevada if you have 1 pt squared you get 1 random number in the draw. If you have 6 pts then you get 36 random numbers in the draw. 10 pts and you have 100 random numbers. Nevada really gives each point a whole lot more meaning... I still do like the way Arizona does the draw and bonus pts, I've just been wondering if a different system was in place we all might be a lot happier with the outcome of the draw.
