I'll have 20 pts for next year! Certain rifle hunts are guarantee draws with this many pts but a lot of them will take many more years...

In the link below are the 2012-2013 Fall hunt recommendations. Some of the highlights I found in this was deer permits will be on the decline quite a few units. Unit 33 lost a general mule deer hunt, but looks to add a muzzleloader any antlered deer hunt. There's a General December hunt added in units 7, 17A/B, 23, and 27. 3A/3C went to a draw for fall archery deer. Mountain lions are recommended to be hunted year round in most units once again. Bag limits on Daylong hunts for mountain lion are available as well as daylong hunts for coyotes in certain units. Also 12A will be adding some additional youth doe permits but will be staying with the 5-7% adult population growth. Fall Hunt- My link

I agree and I'm glad to see that opportunity given to harvest a great buck! It allows more hunt choices to put down and may give slightly better draw odds to other quality deer hunts around the State! The only thing g&f needs to watch is giving too many tags for the December hunts. I think 10 tags for unit 7 is just about right. Something like 25 tags may be risking killing off a lot of mature bucks during the rut, especially in units that are poor quality already.

Overall I like a lot of the changes as well! I'm happy with the December mule deer hunts added if it goes through. On the last survey I took for g&f I added they should think about adding more opportunity by a small percentage of tags going to December hunts south of the rim for mule deer. Not sure if more people asked for the same and that's the reason they're considering it.

No hits with 19 pts for antelope and 2 pts for elk.

It's all luck and random numbers! It's frustrating going even one year without a tag, but looking at draw odds on mm.com you'll have a lot better chance at an archery bull tag next year with 6 pts!

This was the first year I've been to it, but I thought it was pretty good! If you wanted to shoot rifles or pistols there was plenty of that going on. Also the fish tank was pretty cool, but I never saw the guy catch one. There was quite a bit of stuff for the youth to do such as the fishing area, bow shooting and pistol shooting, and a 3D target shoot with recurves. For the adults there were booths of all kinds and a few raffles for pistols and shotguns to get in as well!

I remember results coming out on a Saturday once over the phone, it's been more than 10 years since that happened though! Still hoping Monday they start hitting CC's again! It seems like more should have drawn on here after counting up about 70+ that drew either elk or lope not counting friends, and there's over 5k members on cw.com!

I've got 19 pts for antelope as well and now 20 pts for next year. Looks like it's all over now, Congrats to all the lucky ones who drew!

There's a lot of hits but every year those that get hits do end up drawing that tag! With credit cards more people tend to post that they got a hit for elk or lope, but that hit could be for anybody in their family because most don't know yet. On years when we get results online first it seems most people will only post for themselves and don't mention whether family members drew or not.

Seems as though the charging has slowed or is finished for tonight. Anybody confident they should have been charged for a tag but have not been charged yet?? Hoping tomorrow has as many hits as today!

Nothing for me yet, but he is stoked! I have every reason to believe him, unless his wife is just playing a cruel joke. I think its legit. I am sitting on 13 points, my wife has 12 and still no hits for us. Sounds reliable to me!! Good luck with all those points!

Has anybody called azgfd for more info on this? After posting a statement on their website and nothing happening you would think even more calls would head their way..

They should show up unless your bank doesn't want you to know If they have started .. they've only gone threw the goat tags...and it will be a long process for elk But i would have thought someone on this website would have been ecstatic to get a goat tag and posted there hit If you around last time CC's were hit for elk and lope you would know that not all banks post pending transactions online right away..Depending on the bank a lot of us had to call our bank to find out. Really??!!! that's wierd i get mine right away..... (wells fargo) Yeah, I use chase banking and in 06' I had to call in to confirm any pending transactions. It was a day or two later before they showed up online. I remember quite a few others having to call in as well. Just giving a heads up in case it happens again this year!
