  1. Well I recently took a job in Globe and thought I would commute from the Gila Valley. After some thought the wife and I are entertaining the idea of just moving to Globe. I know nothing about Globe and to be honest Globe/Miami has just been the "town" we drive through to go to the Valley or Payson or to the lake. I know there is a ton of outdoor stuff that will be beneficial for me :D but I have two little ones and a wife that is willing to move so I don't have an 1 hr commute. Anyways, for those of you that live or have lived or even commute to Globe, what are the pros and cons of living in Globe and if you commute where do you commute from and how is the commute? If you know where a place to rent/sale is suitable for a small family please let me know and if there are areas you recommend living in the Globe area please also let me know. I have about 10 weeks of training I have to be in before I start work so I've got a couple months. I didn't find to much info on the internet so I thought why not ask on here and get some good honest feedback from the CWT community. Thanks in advanced!

  2. I found one of these in .300 wsm that I am thinking of getting. These were discontinued by Ruger a while back. Anyone out there have one or can give me their opinion or review on them? They are compact rifles and have a 16.5" barrel. I have read other reviews but many were from forums from the east coast where shots aren't passed 200 yards. I like the idea of a good pack gun and the caliber to be able to reach out. Any insight to this gun would be great thanks.

  3. Got it back from gunsmith Gila Outdoor uses and he told me he considered it 80-85% but I'm no gunsmith. It's 85 years old but still functions and shoots well. Any interest shoot me a message. I'm open to any offers or even trades. Thank for looking! Sorry forgot to put it is a 12 ga.

  4. Browning Challenger .22 LR. Has a 6 3/4" barrel. Made in Belgium 1969 per serial number. Some bluing coming off on slide and barrel. Shoots like a dream has one original Browning 10 round magazine. Has adjustable trigger. Incredibly lite crisp trigger. Hate to get rid of this gun but wife says to get rid of something for the new project. <_< 395 obo no trades. I am located in Thatcher AZ. Message me if interested. Thanks

  5. Big Browns thank you for posting! i always enjoy seeing you and your boys' outings. I have a 17 month old boy and cannot wait to have these opportunities with him. We've already gone camping and have taken him canoeing and fishing and loves just being outdoors. Seeing them catch and be excited like this is priceless! Good job to your boys for landing those impressive trout.

  6. I've got a used 10/22 that shoots and functions flawlessly. I acquired it used a couple months ago and have only put 4-5 ten round mags through it. Rifle has scratches on the stock and on the black metal part on the butt of the stock. the gun was made in the 70's per serial number. i forgot exactly what year it was made. 2 ten round mags will be included with the gun. i'm traveling up to the mesa area tonight and will be in the valley till tuesday. Asking 225 or trade for another gun. message me if interested thanks!
