The Buck I Never Dreamed Of
Stallone A. replied to tsquare602's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
You should stick to just bird hunting… JK WOW what an amazing animal congrats. -
Yeah, I wish I had someone to load them for me. I keep all my brass that I shoot hoping one day I would learn how to reload but still has not happened. Thanks for the help.

I am looking for 1 or 2 boxes of Black Hills Gold 180 Gr. Nosler AccuBond. My hunt is in 3 weeks and I still can not find a box of this ammo anywhere. I have an order in with Midway but who knows when it will arrive since it is on back order. I appreciate any help on locating a box of this ammo. I understand that I will have to probably pay a premium but I do not want to shoot an animal with a Boat-tail hollow point. Thanks, Anthony

I was wondering if anybody has used any of the Fjall Raven products. I really like the hardwearing pants G-1000 but I only have read or seen a picture. Does anybody here where these pants or own any FJallRaven gear? Thanks for any Feedback. Anthony

Stallone A. replied to Jay Scott's topic in Jay Scott Outdoors/Colburn and Scott Outfitters
Parker, I knew you would get one this year after seeing you shoot at 3D targets at the Outdoorsman's venue at Cardinal Stadium this year... Great Job, I can't wait for my boys to be old enough to hunt... Good Job to you to DAD... (We never get any credit...) -
Great Job... He is huge...

I guess I am not the only one getting excited, it was great to read all your guys post. I am all set and ready to go myself my Mathews Switchback is all tuned up and arrows are flying true as always. I may see a couple of you hunting up North. Good Luck to you all and may our arrows shoot straight...

Alright, I am interested on what you all have to say about the above topic. I have a friend that wants to come bow hunting with me this Aug for Deer but has never hunted before. We will be hunting up north so finding a spot on a tree will not be a problem. My concern is that he just started shooting and has never hunted. He wants to come for the experience rather than shoot something. I was wondering what I should do. Set him up on a ground blind near a water hole or put him up in a tree stand with a harness and have him sit by a trail? Thanks for thoughts.

Tree Stand or Ground Blind (for new hunter)
Stallone A. replied to Stallone A.'s topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
I figured I would set him up somewhere for the morning and then go get him late afternoon and do some spot and stalk... Or keep him up in a tree for 12 hours and then the next day spot and stalk... Or just tell him your Bear story... -
Great Video, Thanks for sharing.

Tree Stand or Ground Blind (for new hunter)
Stallone A. replied to Stallone A.'s topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
I don't think he would be scared of being in a tree stand, however if I put him in a tree stand I am going to have to set it up for him and probably have to walk him to it so he doesn't get lost in the dark and then go to my spot. I would be worried just sending him in the woods by himself. He is Dr, a very smart guy... but It would be he first time and could get turned around real easy... I agree with you all about sent control and moving... Its always hard to stay still especially on tree stand your first time... However I think putting him in a blind he may get board and be on his cell the whole time... Not the experience I want to give but at least I know he would be safe... -
Amazing Photos, Its always nice to hunt them with a camera as well.
