I've had the pack for 4 years and like it.. It's versatile and has some well thought out features. Cody took care of me when I purchased it and I believe Outdoorsmans is a great place to do business. The one comment for improvement that I would add to those mentioned, is I believe the lumbar and back pads could be improved. Eberlestock padding makes for a more comfortable ride on a daily basis compared to my Outdoorsmans pack... My 2 cents. My outdoorsmans is still my #1 though

I'm always treated well when I go here once a quarter, and this last weekend was no different. Junior took care of me and my bow has a new drop-away rest, string stop, and tune... And it was all done in a day. Thank you.

I had this truck through college and used it for short commutes and hunting trips. It's a good truck but I now use a different vehicle for work, so I am selling it. I have pictures of the dent before it was fixed for reference if wanted. No structural damage was done and it was a cosmetic fix. Dad bought a diesel and after two years of holding on to it, just doesn't have the need for this bad boy any more. Not an every-day vehicle. Was only used a few times a year to go to the lake and tow the trailers to hunting camp. This rig has been on successful elk, coues, pig, turkey, and sheep hunts..... meaning the good luck transfers to you. Details: -1997 Ford F350 (long bed, 1-ton). V8 460 motor with dual gas tanks -117,200 original miles. -Recently passed emissions and is registered through April 2015 -Diamond plating on the tail gate and bed rails (includes 6 recessed hide-a-hooks). Includes matching, locking diamond plated tail box -Heavy duty bed mat -New tires purchased before last hunting season with hardly any miles on them (BFG AT's LT 285/75/R16 with 2 good spares) -Tow package with break controller under dash (not used for 5th wheel) -AC blows cold -Nice, clean stereo installed by Ultimate and is still crisp. Never ran low on gas or oil. Just had new radiator and battery put in. This truck is ready for summer scouting trips. There aren't a lot of these trucks around anymore. I wouldn't get caught up in that article.... The penetration of your arrow into an animal should not be over-defined by a wikipedia drag-force equation. There are a ton of factors that play inside the control volume for this physics problem: broaden surface area, arrow weight, and angle of penetration are just a few. And while there is a resistance force exterted on your arrow at the point of contact, the most important factors contributing to arrow penetration are: 1) Shot placement 2) Sharp broadheads

Wade Miley currently has a higher BA and Slugging % than Mr. Trumbo..... I doubt it will last all season, and Wade Miley can't hit bombs like Trumbo, but there is a point to the stat: You DONT trade good young pitching for sub-.230 hitters and hrs (TOWERS)

Exactly. You make that trade ONLY if 30 hr. & .230 avg, 6-hole hitter is the missing piece that makes you contend for a world series. The fact that Towers and Gibson thought that was the case is enough proof to fire both. I was Justin Upton's biggest critic and still am. He takes plays off and had a bad attitude. But how do you not trade Upton for a young starting pitcher. He was our biggest trade chip. Towers missed out on the big Seattle deal when Upton vetoed it, and because he played his cards wrong (IMO), he was left with Atlanta. Martin Prado is a good guy and talent, but was not needed. Towers got smoked. Next year's rotation should have been 1) Corbin 2) Upton trade pitcher 3) Bradley 4) Skaggs 5) Miley

I knew what this thread was about before I even opened it. I'm a huge Dbacks fan, and have been since the beginning. I went to the 2001 game 7 and love the team. I was very upset that Towers and Gibson were not fired after the end of last season. If I were the owner, I'd be cleaning house. I don't care if it's April. Towers became enamored with an over achieving 2011 squad and tried to get over the hump by signing experienced veterans. He has decimated our minor league talent (primarily our young pitching) and has set us back several years. Gibson and his staff need to go too. I know he likes to hunt, but that doesn't make him a good manager. They do a poor job of developing young pitchers (case in point: giving up on Tyler Skaggs and now the kid is throwing 92-96 with the Angels). The Trumbo trade was as dumb as it gets.... I'll stop for now. I could list my grievances all night.....
