Barrel Length 101

I can't see what possible axe the author would have to grind. It is hard to make comparisons if you change barrels and/or bullet/powder combinations. I'm not saying his conclusions are 100% accurate...I personally favor a longer barrel on a long range rig...it did make for an interesting read. I do think in many instances a longer barrel is of limited value. -

Good read -
I am aware of that. As soon capitol one gives me any grief they will get replaced. My point was more to point out that if you have a card that works and you only use it for apps you will be less likely to run into issue's.
-
It seems to be a theme with Wells Fargo...first thing I would do is change that. I use a Cabela's card for 15 plus years and have never had an issue. I don't use it for anything except Cabela's purchases and hunt applications which reduces the odds that it will be involved in a fraud issues. I think there is potential for issues no matter what card you have. It would be nice since all of the G&F departments have forced us into online only if they would provide a way for a back-up credit card.

2019 Coues Video
pwrguy replied to OpticNerd's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
Wow. I am impressed with that little camera. I assumed you were digiscoping through a high end spotter of some sort. That is a great light weight option, I may have to look into acquiring one of those. Thanks again for posting. I second ForkHorn's question...what kind of distances are you getting some of those shots at? -
I took this video of one working over a century plant about 10 years ago about 6 miles NE of Payson
-
I have seen them up to 6,500 feet around Payson. I have never personally seen them above the rim but I think that is because I don't personally go up there as much.

How was the camera set up? Was it connected to a spotter? How? Would love to see a pic of your setup!! -

I have a lefty Savage 116 in .308 with a 20 MOA Seekins base on it. Looking to get $700.00 for it. PM if interested. I am in Payson.

I agree with this. They are definitely not for people with wide feet ie me.

Pretty easy to break the law with these without a ham license but they are an awesome cheap radio. Also, I might add, pretty easy to break the law with a ham license.

Best Tripod head for digiscoping/shooting
pwrguy posted a topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
I currently use a Bogen and Outdoorsman tripod. What is everyone using for heavy use items such as spotting scopes with camera's and possibly mounting rifles to the tripod as well.
