Angle is displayed after line of sight yardage. Nice feature for long range shooting.

I am using .651 for that bullet (not even close to published) and it seemed to be pretty close to 1000 yards. Shooting it out of a 300 WM 1:10 twist at 2990 Fps. Terminal performance was excellent at 100 yards, have not taken anything further than that but the bullet has been stable and accurate downrange.

Wind is an educated guess no matter what equipment you have. At the best all you can do is measure the wind at that moment and that location where you are standing. Nothing like real world practice to sort out the wind variable

I was in Coconino over the weekend. seems like no one is using their stupid map. No way I want to hike a mile into an area to find a parked UTV. The forest is useless to the "average" user without access. There are plenty of wilderness area's for those that want that experience. I for one won't be the guy that calls the Forest Fairy's when I see an ATV using a road that has been there for 50 years. I am sick of all of their baloney.

Thanks for the responses. He is fine, haven't heard the details, probably just turned off his phone and focused on Elk. I have a friend that left to hunt unit 8 on the 15th of September. None of his friends or family has heard from him. For some this would be normal but highly unexpected from him. A family member is heading up today to try and locate him but I am hoping someone on CWT has seen their camp and can help us out. He drives a maroon/burgundy? 1 ton dually dodge approximately 2005. He is towing a white box trailer and a green 6 person Alaskan Guide tent. His family thinks he would be camping in the Round Mountain/JD Dam area. Would you give me a call if you have seen this camp. not familiar with the bullet or cartridge. What is the published BC and what are you actually using? Possibly your bullet is moving a little quicker than you have it on the chrono?

I have a Leica Rangemaster 1200 for sale. I does have some scratches and normal wear but the optics and laser are fine.
