I'm with coues and sheep, no more laws needed. You hunt how you like and I will continue to hunt how l like. Money is always going to a factor but we don't need class warfare in the hunting arena. If I could afford it I would use a professional guide every time I hunted a new area, and if he owned 3,000 trail cams I wouldn't care.

It would be interesting to know what the reasons are for the 800. My guess is the overwhelming majority are people with maxed out cards. Oh well I guess that's how we Americans roll these day's. I would still rather put up with this system than see someone get cheated out of something they have been working towards for years.

Sorry trphyhntr I disagree. I know people who are very responsible that have lost their tag and bonus points through no fault of their own because of fraudulent activity that had nothing to do with them. In fact...I rarely do this but I commend the G&F for this change. There are lots of way's this could be done but this way is far better and more fair than the previous one.

Hard to beat .30 Cal for selection of bullets. High BC is everything if you are looking to shoot 700 and longer, and still retain energy for terminal performance.

I am looking for something that could withstand long periods of time outside. I would prefer metal and larger casters. Thanks for the link though.

I think 10 percent is a good average for any type of service such as this. I also think it should be flexible and not expected. If you get lousy service tip accordingly. If you have a great experience you should tip well regardless of the outcome. I think it is a very bad idea to tip below 5% unless you really don't ever want to see that person again

I have been getting excellent results MOST of the time without messing with a comparator. Don't get hung up with coal. If you are using a good quality seating die you are going to get good results by setting the seating die to a proven coal and just loading the whole lot without measuring anything else if your seating die is hitting the same spot on the ogive for every bullet. Do make sure you keep your seating die nice and clean or you will get some shaky results.

Yep, you hit the nail on the head, as many people with 2 points seem to get drawn as with 23 points, makes you wonder why you buy that point every year sometimes

I am in my 7th year at donating 200 a year to Nevada. So far no tag, I wish I had started sooner. I thought I had a decent chance at an antelope tag this year but no dice.
