pwrguy replied to Big Browns's topic in Black Bear or Grizzly Bear hunts
Great job Adam. -
Same here, works with my droid but not my desktop
-
That's too bad
-
Nice buck!! Makes me want to get out and start scouting Little too earty yet.

I would have to say Verizon as well. Lots of gaps though, I wouldn't want my life to depend on them in some of the back country. You might look at something like SPOT like creed suggested.
-
Great deal on some well taken care of glass. I would grab them if I were in the market. They will go fast.
-
Great fish Adam, congrats to your boys
-
Good advice. You will do fine, I would concentrate on the area's that have enough cover for archery shots. They are all over that unit and you are not going to have any trouble finding them.

Thats hilarious.

Cool fish. I have been wanting to go up to the Boulders and fish for those and Brooks for a long time. Looks like fun!!

Awesome way to thin em down. -
That's funny right there. Nothing racist about it, that is after all what they were called.

Well...it took almost a year but my new toy has finally arrived. I paid for the stock last summer, and the completed project came in the mail. I hope it shoots as good as it looks This action has been a 7mm WM for a very long time but now it is a 300WM.

What bullets are you useing? So far some 178 Amax (Hornady) and some 190 Sierra match kings. I wonder if I will ever get my hands on the 210 Nosler, but in the mean time I have some 208 Amax and some 200 Accubond to play with. I really had these 200 - 210 grain bullets in mind for this rifle
-
Oh come on man, they are just interested in your safety

Put 4 3-Shot groups through it today. 1 was 3/8ths at 100. Shows some promise!!!

I think you will come across some rifles that shoot very well that are not free floated. That being said I think the majority of tack drivers have free floating barrells.

AZ Ground Pounders Coues Deer Management
pwrguy replied to AZ Ground Pounders's topic in AZ Ground Pounders Outfitters Blog
Well put and 100 percent correct. You can't alway's rely on others to assist in your plan, but you can manage predators and win half the battle. Keep up the good work!!! -
October Coues Hunt vs December Rut Hunt
pwrguy replied to AZ Ground Pounders's topic in AZ Ground Pounders Outfitters Blog
You guy's are killing some great bucks. I have come to the same conclusion, I had a great October last year although I didn't harvest anything as nice as those. -
I plan on shooting 200 to 210 grain bullets. I'm interested in the new long range bullets from Nosler, but ultimately, I will end up with one bullet for this gun and it will be the one that gives the best results downrange, doesn't matter if it's Berger, Hornady, Sierra or whatever?
