Great pictures. Ours are getting fired up, unforturnately we don't get to hunt them yet

I do believe you are right. This system sucks.it has never happened to me thank God.I think Colorado has a much better system in place to handle the draw.they should just take out the entire tag fee at the beginning and refund you if you're not drawn.it is sad to hear of all the people that this has happened to, I am considering putting in with a check next time.

That is a fun hunt. Don't be surprised if you bump into almost every other person that drew the tag. The accesible area's that the bulls are in that time of year are somewhat limited and a lot of people will be eyeing the same bulls. Regardless, you will have a good time.

I was at 12 this year. My plan is to wait for a top tier hunt, I have discovered I'm not that good with a bow . I try to go on at least one good hunt a year even if I have to go out of state to do it. I have a good shot at a Colorado muzzy hunt in September this year.

Cool picture, looking forward to some scouting this weekend myself.

I have a new rifle coming and I can't find any brass due to all the shortages right now. Does anyone have any leads on some brass? I would prefer Remington, but would consider anything at this point, even some once fired would get me started.

Thanks a bunch. Old buck had some new unused brass that he didn't need and it arrived today. How great is that!!!

That is a great old picture, thanks for sharing it!!!

very cool. He makes some great sounds with that box call!!! -
Nice buck man. Clay does great work.

Sounds about right to me

Like has already been said "Family first". Good luck to you with the move. Sounds like you will have more opportunity out there!!

Since the majority of them are 3 points, if you happen to be one of those that don't count the G1 as a point, I would imagine there is a good many bucks that size and better with (3) points. That is a great buck by the way.

2 1/2 Times the Number of Elk and Pronghorn Applicants
pwrguy replied to mpriest's topic in Elk Hunting
That's exactly the way I took it. No way there were 2.5 times as many applicants. -
150 Non-typical Coues from Mexico

Wow, that thing is wild!!! -
I think you will find a mix of opinions, it is really a matter of personal preference. I use an outdoorsman pistol grip, but have honestly never tried a high quality panning head, so it is hard to say what is best.

Another dog and pony show!!! -
I agree, maybe even more. I find it absurd that someone with 15 points can loose a tag to someone with 2 points. If they would start letting tags go to the higher bonus point people I think the max number of points needed to draw a given tag would come down as higher bonus point people would get re-shuffled to the bottom of the list upon drawing their tag.

Those are the 2 I am familiar with!!!

Welcome to the site...that is a great mulie!!!

That is a clean looking machine. Good luck with the sale.

That is one big ole buck!!!

Terrain can be tough here in 22. It definitly would not be my first choice for an early archery hunt with 9 BP. The really big bulls are scattered thinly over a lot of country. Good luck you are close to drawing something good.
