If anyone out there knows of a good used quad for sale please let me know. I am looking for a 4wd model for hunting, and would prefer something over 400cc.
-
300 ish, on the bigger one.
-
+1 I had a similar experience with a 300 win mag that I had.
-
What a great buck, congrats

That's excactly right. And the reason they are so scarce in the first place is because of mining and not enough habitat. What a bunch of cr*p. These sandal wearing, tree hugging nitwits won't be happy until they have completely chased the public from public land, this is not about mining or Jaguar's. This is about control of the land. We need to get the federal government out of the land ownership business.

Hey Mike, congrats to you and Charlie, looks like typical weather up there

Great bucks. Good luck!!!

+6 on the outdoorsman, not crazy about all of their products, but the pistol grip is light and very durable. Highly recommend.

I have no real world experience yet but have been reading review's. I plan on putting shooter on my phone in pretty short order.

my best friend and my son both drew this tag as well. I had it a couple of years ago. You will have a great time, it is nice to be out there during the rut with very little company. Good luck.

Congrats. That should be a great time.

I use gps maps as well. Have been impressed with the updates the last couple of years. They now have hunt unit boundaries, wilderness boundaries, land ownership, and much more. When I bought mine it was good for 2 units as well, so if you change GPS's frequently it could end up being an expensive option? I think they are a good investment, specially if you are out a lot in unfamilliar country. The bigger screen you have the more you will appreciate. Good luck

We just got our first real rain here in Payson yesterday. I measured just over 1/2 an inch here at my house in Payson.

Great video with some great animals, thanks for posting.

The oldest I have eaten has been around 5 years. It depends on how it is packaged. We like to wrap it in plastic and then in the coated butcher paper. I have eaten meat that was just in the butcher paper that was over 2 years old. I think as long as it stays hard frozen it will go for a very long time. I have never really done any research on this, it would be interesting to see what the pro's have to say!!

That is way cool, I may have to build one of those.

+1 just a deterent, nothing is going to stop someone prepared for stealing

wow, pretty good first attempt. Now you are addicted, better go out and get a couple more camera's

Thanks for the post. I was not aware this was going on. I do remember some very scam-like encounters when I was looking to purchase a quad on craigslist. Definitely do only face to face with the item in hand if at all possible.

That is a great write up and pictures. This was especially nostalgic for me, I grew up 20 miles south of Darwin and my family had a cattle station there. I still have many family members in NT and one of my Uncles still has a station there. I hope to get back in the next few years and get some pictures of my own. Thanks for posting
