I remember one of those times that it was fired less than 1 minute apart. I think it was 3 rounds in about 15 seconds or less Sorry you are selling it, if it was left handed I might have to rob a bank to get it. Do you have plans for a bigger/heavier long action rifle? -
Thats a great idea Lark, I think you may be on to something. They could genetically engineer these wolves so that they only eat tofu, then, they could place taxpayer funded tofu feeders all through the forests. Briliant!!!

I have been on some hard to follow trails where these cairns really saved my bacon....pre-gps day's of course If they are on a legitimate trail you should leave them alone, they are hurting nothing.

I have had great luck with Verizon up in the sticks. My only complaint would be the pricing, and maybe the coverage in Alaska. Customer service has alway's been great to me. I don't have any problem with a 2 year contract if you get a new phone out of the deal, thats the price you have to pay. If you paid for everything up front, you would have paid that much money anyway.

2012 off to a good start!

Some great looking bucks, must be a pretty hot spot if you got all those pictures this year. Good luck!! -
I pretty much agree with you. If you are man enough to pack a big ole rifle around around and want to put a 250 grain bullet into a 100 pound deer then go for it. There is no such thing as overkill, dead is dead. It is all about bullet placement.

My 700 short since my bolt face and feed rails wont need modification and my long action would need a complete overhaul. Dont forget I am running a long box magazine. Having loaded some dummy rounds at 2.985" I have been able to reliably feed them in and out of my magazine and the bullets are not that far into the case. I have one with 50 grains of H4831 in it and there is plenty of room to spare. Another with 55 grains of H1000 and the bullet just barely bumps the powder. This is with 140's. 55 grains of one powder or the other will most likely be at or beyond max pressure so I am not worried about running these at 2.985" even though many think a short action is a waste for a 6.5x284. Not sure why as where the boat tail meets the bearing surface of the bullet is even with the bottom of the neck with the 140's. Plenty of case capacity is left. How are you going to 308nut without a 308 you better find you another action!!! I like the look of that 6.5 as well, good luck with your new endeavor. -

That stinks. I would definitely fight that one. Lot's of way's to get into a house without breaking anything. I would still consder burglery even if you left the front door open. They came in un-invited and took your stuff, what else are you going to call it? Good luck man!!!

I would guess 95 to 100 nice buck. Go ahead and shoot him, then you can measure the easy way. -
Thats sick. It takes a real piece of work to dream up some crap like that.... What Pwerguy doesn't understand is that cartridges are not volatile...plastic jars of powder ARE. If you want to ship black powder, I would recommend FedEx; the are set up to handle this kind of thing and are certified to handle HAZMAT. The passenger airlines won't touch with you with a 10' pole. And if you try to sneak it on a passenger airline, you'll be eating from the end of a 10'pole...in a prison somewhere. If all else fails, you could buy your powder at your destination, or arrange to have it shipped there from an online retailer. Just my two cents worth from an airline driver who has had his cargo bay on fire...but don't take my word for it pwerguy does understand. If I was driving a plane and my hold was on fire, I would take 6 oz of powder in a container over the same amount of powder loaded into cartridges any day. If you think I am kidding go ahead and throw a box of cartriges in the campfire next time you are camping, make sure you stand real close so you can get the full effect Just my 2 cents worth
