Great buck. Congrats to your brother.

Great goats. I have a few bonus points there, I might have to pick your brains some time. Those prongs on that middle one WOW Congrats

While out scouting for elk this morning I got a chance to take some pictures of this nice buck. Forgive the quality of the pictures, but the quality of the buck is great. I put together a little video clip as well, I will try to post a link. Enjoy

Do some searches. This has been a topic on here several times. The good part about buying top of the line stuff is top of the line service when it stops working like it should. There are many affordable options if you only want to range 400 yards.

I like it. How do I get it?

Spectacualar elk footage
pwrguy replied to OpticNerd's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
You are right that is some great footage. Wish I had the time and equipment to do that kind of stuff. -
Yeah it is definitely a game changer by making it easier to put in, but I for one think it is about time to have a fully functioning online system. I'm pretty sure there will be a draw odds decline but I guess we will have to live with it.

Killed a couple of bears yesterday
pwrguy replied to jeffcros's topic in Black Bear or Grizzly Bear hunts
Wow, 2 bears in one day. Not too often you hear that. Congrats -
You are right that is one wide bull. Great job and great story.

Are their any radios without call alert or roger beep
pwrguy replied to hawkeye's topic in Other Hunting Gear
Interesting, I just tried that with a radio that was driving me crazy all last weekend and it worked. So How do you turn the annoying beep back on? -
bustin your tail versus easier locations
pwrguy replied to livinthedream's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
For me backpacking in is about getting away from all the people and 4 wheelers. Good deer can be found in many easy to get to places. -
I recently knocked my Swarovski 15X56 binocs out of alignment. They were stellar to deal with and ended up sending me a brand new pair. My question is this...If I were to buy a used spotting scope how would the warranty work, or would the change in ownership void the awesome warranty that they have. Does anyone have experience with this?

Stunning, what a great bull. Congrats

That is one of the craziest thing I have ever seen. I have seen pictures of 2 animals locked together, either way, I can't imagine a more awful way to die. That is a way cool find though, and I'm glad they let you have it.

Found another one this morning. I would have a hard time passing this one as well. This elk scouting is fun, I don't think I have ever seen so many nice deer.
-
Amazing how tough those critters can be. Makes you wonder how he has avoided being eaten?

I don't know what gets into people, I alway's used to think my stuff was pretty safe in the woods. I would like to think it was non-hunters doing all this cr**, but I know better. I think trail camera's are pretty harmless and no matter what you think about using technology, it doesn't make any sense to vandalize other peoples stuff. Chances are good you won'd find out who did this.

Both are similar in performance, with lots and lots of choices of bullets and powders. You really can't go wrong!! Depending on the weight of the rifle, you are going to feel plenty of recoil, I would still consider a good break if you don't like getting thumped. Just my 2 cents worth.

If it is an archery hunt, I would go with the big .50 pistol. I have been in grizzly country a couple of trips but never had any close encounters. I saw 4 last year in Alaska at 1500 yards, and that is the range I would prefer to see them at Good luck
