I haven't seen anything yet. Some small bucks in the same area's as does, but they don't seem to be too frisky
-
I think putting out a camera that costs 600 bucks is nuts. I agree with Amanda, going to check your camera is part of the "fun". I currently have 1 out right now that I know would not get cell service. Look at the coverts, I don't have one, but the pictures I have seen posted are excellent.

Rifle Kick....looking for suggestions for next rifle
pwrguy replied to Redman's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Changing calibers unless you go to a substantially smaller bullet will not get what you are looking for. Muzzle brakes and gun weight are the 2 main things you need to consider. If you can stand the extra noise, muzzle brakes are the best way to go. That being said, I had a 18 pound tactical rifle in 300 win mag that had less felt recoil than a .223. There is alway's going to be a trade off somewhere. Good luck!!! -
Great buck..looks like a yote in the other pic

Fantastic bull, good job
-
+1 I like em both and have shot both calibers. Accuracy is what is needed, I think you would be happy with either

This is all I did for years, I didn't know my actuall velocity until a couple of years ago when I bought a chronograph. Worked great for me, at least out to 500 yards.

I was out glassing this weekend and spotted this one. These pictures were taken through my 15 binocs at well over 1000 yards.

Great sign...Great bull too.

Definitely some left side junk going on, looks like he almost forks like a mulie. Couldn't make out any "eye guard" on either side. It was taken with just a cannon compact digital camera on 12X zoom through 15 Swarovski's. My first impression was sub-100 inch buck, I think the picture makes him look bigger? Any thoughts?

I have shot a 7mm rem mag for some time. I did not find 120Gr to be very accurate out past 300 yards. I think most 7mm have a twist that works well for 140-160 gr bullets. I would stick to what is most accurate and try a different bullet if you are concerned with damage. IMO I have never had "to much damage", I would rather loose a little meat over wandering all over a hillside looking for tiny spots of blood Just my 2 cents worth.

Great Job. Nice buck!!!!!

STAR VALLEY'S ZERO TOLERANCE SPEED CAMERAS
pwrguy replied to GameHauler's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Harrrr. I got busted last year there. Glad they didn't have the .50 Cal version then -
I agree. You shoot a deer in those temps the work doesn't end until it's hanging in a cooler somewhere.
-
Yep...saw one like that about 15 years ago in the back of a truck in Phoenix. I asked the guy about it and he said it came out of the dessert just south of Phoenix somewhere.

Archery Javelina and Spring Turkey
-
Yeah.. Ibeen getting the same kinda visitors every night. They really like our compost pile and I don't have the heart to lock the poor buggers out with this dry weather. They come in for a drink and snack at least a couple times a week, maybe I'll draw an archery tag and cull one of em. :0)

Dude, you are a kook -
Great price, I can't believe you have no takers, probably sell better in the spring when people are thinking about trout
