My son drew tags at 10, 11, and 12. He filled 7 tags between age 10 and 16. I guess things really have changed the last few years. BTW he turned 18 in March no more Jr. tags for him, he did get to turkey hunt this spring with a draw tag but he skunked out in the fall draw. Hopefully your son will draw next year. I think there is enough hunts that are exclusive to juniors, as much as I would like to see every one of them go.

Good lookin pictures. At least you got to retrieve your camera's, that's better than them being gone I guess.

Anybody have any suggestions for Brown trout in Southern Utah. I would like to get up there early this fall, but have not had much luck with Brown's in previous trips.

Is that what that looks like in the bottom picture? That's a first for me. Wow

Here are some recent pictures. I reduced them down quite a bit so they are not as good as they could be.

I haven't lost one yet. I would agree with 300ultramag...stay away from the obvious spots like water holes that you can drive a quad to. If you put a camera on a spot that a scumbag can drive to, it's just a matter of when it's going to be taken. I'm not saying stay away from these spots, but you better be willing to loose the camera. I like game trails on ridge tops or saddles between canyons that are at least 1/4 mile away from roads.

That is funny about elk liking the smell of new camera's. I will see if I can attach a picture or 2. The camera was not exactly new but that sucker sure saw something that he liked or liked the smell of. He bent the bracket and managed to get mud all over the face of the camera. I guess I need to get some of those scent eliminator wipes

I was out looking for a spot this morning to put a trail cam. I think I have a good one. I am relatively new to the camera game, I have had 2 camera's in 3 different spots and have not had any problems. 2 of the spots were relatively difficult to get to. One was a 4-5 hour hike in the other 2-1/2 hours of hiking into the wilderness. I am not going to put any camera where you can drive a quad to it and I'm going to avoid water unless it is somewhere extremely remote.

That sucks. I haven't lost one yet but I know I'm going to be pissed when it does happen. It kinda makes me leary about buying one of the better camera's knowing it's just a matter of time. I think I'm going to stay away from tanks unless it is somewhere really remote. I don't think we have to deal to much with the illegals up here in unit 22/23

Great mount. You are going to run out of wall space if you don't quit assasinating those poor little white sheep.

Only a young buck (non-shooter) but check out those eye guards!
