    TRuSight G7 Br2 Rangefinder

Be careful folks this poster joined just to sell stuff and he is out of town. Not saying your a crook James, this is just a heads up situation.
  2. I'll use your tactics (jamestturn did this in the binocs for sale thread) Hey all I have this same scope for only $ 600. (No I don't I'm just a bit miffed at this guy a bit. Wrong side of the bed I guess. He got under my skin)

brand new Vortex Viper HD 8x32

Aren't you a class act. Join this group only to sell stuff and can't even simply start your own thread. Plus you are out of state.

  5. I just assumed that her "honey holes" were acquired from the exes spots witch is why she posted the thread to begin with bc they have same tags and will be hunting same areas? The "honey hole" is what got everyone in this situation. I see what you did

Need help let me know. I wish I had that tag, it was my first choice. My second choice is in my pocket as a cow tag November late.

    Wyoming Pile Up

My understanding is that this stretch is at the bottom of a long steep downhill. Short notice stopping is rough especially on snow. What was that FedEx driver thinking however! Wow.

    Tips for consistency?

Fatigue is a great subject. Lots of shooters start at 20, then shoot 30, then 40, then 50. The result is fatigue setting in as the shots get more critical. I shoot a few at 20 then jump to 40 or even 50. From there it depends on whim and what I want to practice. My 50 and beyond groupings are much better by skipping lots of arrows at short distance.

who has the best chinese food in phx?

I've been wanting to try Slanted Rice. It's owned by a friends brother and I hear really good things about it. The misses doesn't care for Chinese so we generally don't go that route.

    Tips for consistency?

As mentioned use the same steps every time. Watch a golfer do his "waggle" and you'll see a golfer do the same thing before every shot, every time. Also, you tried adjusting the sight correct? You mention a shop looking at it but if you're hitting low left, move your sight down and left. It's easy. If doing that still results in low left it is defiantly you.

    What are your thoughts?

Nope. If I need a firearm to work it better work. I don't trust anything that can go as wrong as this technology could go.

    10 decades of Elk

I'm an Elk member… you're welcome Just kidding. Actually I am an Elk but the thanking me was a joke. Great reading thanks for posting.
  15. That's a tough one. I don't see staking out a claim as a good idea. That is confrontational from the start. My preference would be (if was me in your shoes) to just go the other way if you crossed paths. If you fear boldly harm then it may be time to scout some new country and take the high road. Then again if your ex intended bodily harm it doesn't matter where you are even when not hunting. It's a small world you'll cross paths eventually. Not knowing how long this has been going on I would hope it was a thing in the past and calmer heads have evolved. We are all adults right? Then again if your ex is a real piece of work and the whole calmer head, mature thing doesn't fit, I'd be looking at new country, especially if you know where he will be, don't be there.
  16. I'm starting to work 80 yards with my new Hoyt and 90 if the breeze is non-existent. 60 used to be far, now 60 is what 40 used to be. 80 is what 60 used to be. Etc. It comes at a price however… cha ching. The biggest advantage I see besides the joy of how new bows shoot, is the flatter trajectory.

    Urban coyote

We see them frequently here at 32st and Thunderbird. Then again we have the mountains and large wash that are very near. The wife saw a Javalina several years ago on the street. She knows what they are and look like so I believe her, however in all my hiking around here I never saw one or sign.

    Parking near Sky Harbor

If you really want to save money use the train or Uber. You might find that 9 days of parking cost more than an Uber ride, plus it is just easier. Parking is free at the train parking lots.

Toyota Tundra Owners..... Yea or nay

I went with a Titan because the rear seats flipped up as well as down. Up position leaves the floor wide open. In 2007 the Tundra didn't do that. So far at 150xxx only tiny little issues of age are starting to show. I did just need brakes for the first time as well as replace the starter due to a sticky selenoid. Other than the usual maintenance thats all its needed. 4x4 and 5.6 gets right about 16 in city. Tundras are nice though.

    Elk in Unit 22 South

Viper has it described very well. Elk are all over that area. Scouting early is best to learn the lay of the land.

    Yep, commercial plate
  25. Great video. Two thumbs up. I was surprised to see the elk hit on the right when the footage showed him walking left. But then again the footage never actually captured the shot and bull. Not claiming anything just something that surprised me when I saw the arrow.
