I just purchased my 9 yr old the Hoyt ignite. We got a killer deal on it and it was the only left handed bow they had that would fit her. It's a little heavy but I removed the quiver for now and she shoots it pretty good.

You will have it before the elk draw. I took a class in March I think it was and it was there right before the deer draw so it takes a little while to update.

I have the super down vest. I only use it when sitting down glassing because it gets hot quick during a hike. The noise isn't a big issue while sitting.
