Today was real uneventful! We saw 6 deer total only one of them was a Buck (spike). Hopefully tomorrow brings us some luck.

Ha not really a stalk just trying to get into shooting range. We glassed them up pretty far away. I see what your saying though. Well we have only seen 1 deer since the other hunter shot that 2 pt. We'll be back at it in the morning if we don't see something real soon.

While we were trying to get close enough to get a shot we hear BOOM! somebody was on the other ridge and beat us to the deer. He shot a 2pt. The good news is the one I am after was in the herd and he got away.

Just glasond up a herd of 10, the stalk is on!

Hopefully I can find one of them Thursday night and put him to rest Friday morning.

That's BS. Those thieves had to be prepared with tools to be able to do that. I hope mine is there tomorrow when I checsk it. I am always thinking on the way in to check cams if its going to be there or not.

What an awesome experience for a youth hunter to see. I wish I could of seen that. Congrats to Nick on his first elk! You have to be a proud dad to be able to get both your sons an elk and to enjoy the great outdoors with them.
