Glass, Glass, Glass the deer are there! My luck has been seeing them at first light, it gets hot quick and there is no movement during the day from my experience. It was a little cooler today than opening weekend so maybe it will cool down a bit before fri. Good luck!

Coues hunting is frustrating IMO, but it makes it that much more rewarding when you do finally get one on the ground. I had a nice little forky today at about 400 yds but I didn't want to take a shot because I was afraid I wouldnt be able to find him it was very thick brush where he was at. I tried to put a stalk on him but never seen him again. I probably walked right by him they are so sneaky! Good luck dont give up on the coues.
