  1. ok, i'll step on my own foot a little. no cop of any kind is coming in my house without a valid warrant. i don't do anything illegal but i'm not letting anybody go fishing in my house. and it has always seemed to me that bunny cops seem to mess with folks that let them. i understand their job and stuff, but it sure seems +that when you take a submissive position with em they really like to run with it. i've seen em screw up and let the sorriest outlaws there are get away because of crappy cop work and then getting a little weak kneed when the outlaw fought back real hard. and then i've seen em throw the book and everything else at guys for really minor offenses that warranted maybe, again maybe, a citation but instead the guy lost his license and paid thousands in fines. i've had to tell more than one to get outta my camp and don't come back and then i've had em be as kind and caring as anyone i've ever known. but as far as letting any cop in my house, ain't gonna happen without a real live warrant. i have a neighbor who's a cop and he can't even come to a barbecue at my place without one. i remember when i took the required class for a concealed weapon one thing the guy told us, and he was a retired judge, never let a cop mess with you. don't ever give em your gun. you don't have to. that pretty much applies to everything else too. if they did a little more field work maybe they wouldn't need to surf the net for cyber crime. pretty hard to poach a buck with a computer. i know there are a buncha of em that surf this place too and we're probly all on some list now. oh well. if they wanna waste time follerin' me that is just time they could spend after some bad guy. my take, Lark.
  2. here's a site that will shine a little light on the type of people us flatearthers are dealing with. get educated fellers. it don't hurt none and it really frustrates elites when they hafta argue with a educated redneck. this is schnieder joker is just one guy, but they're all on the same team and all have the same goal. Lark. http://www.john-daly.com/schneidr.htm
  3. what happened to all the guys on this site that used to call anyone who said global warming was BS were "flat earthers"? as i recall there were a fair abundance of em at one time. i'm just wondering what folks that believed, or still believe that lumpy diarreaha think about it now? you still believers? changed your minds any? just wonderin'. enlighten us. here's an intersting article from a limey paper i read today. Lark. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/opinio...article1458206/
  4. the guy i was trying to get you to find is steven schnieder. read up on this joker. all you guys need to. be informed and read between the lines and figger out what really motivates these guys. this schnieder joker has said and written some really incriminating stuff and all these activists use his mode of operation. he's like the sol alinsky (another guy you jokers oughta read up on) of global warming. it's about your money and how to get it from you. Lark.
  5. less "wolves" = good news. Lark http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/l...6wolfcount.html

  10. global warming is what us flatearthers used to call the weather. here's a little deal you googlers can go on a scavenger hunt for. there is a guy who is the real guru on global warming. he's like al gore's mentor on it. about 20 years ago he got folks interested in it and realized there was a lotta money to be made off the deal. well, when i was a lot younger the same guy was trying to get everbody to buy into global cooling. said we were gonna all be frooze to death by 2000. same guy. really. i wouldn't lie to ya. that's for koolaid drinkers. do some research and find it out for yourself. same guy. but the imminent ice age that was rushin' at us like a runaway train never sold. but for some reason, global warming did. and according to the guys that started "greenpeace" (i have a hard time typin' that name without barfin') global warming really got started after the berlin wall fell and a buncha commies got into greepeace and took it over. that's no BS either. check it out. read up about lord whats his face or whatever his name is that was one of the founders of greenpeace and see what he says about it. cracks me up how all these global warming conferences are only scheduled so that the U.S. can cut back on their emissions even more so that 3rd and 4th world countries can keep pumpin' sludge at whatever rate they want. and they also want us to pay em even more "aid" in the form of taxes on us so they can maybe someday cut their emissions a little. i.e. the kyoto accord. read up on that little deal that clinton signed us up for that bush was smart enough to say no too. read up on what cap and trade is really about. tax us on our "carbon" output when it is already the best in the world, so that these dumpy country can keep crappin' everything up. heck, nobody wants to trash the planet. but Americans ain't the ones doing it. everyday we make improvements on how we make energy. while other countries just pump crap into the air and water. it's about money. takin ours and giving it to somebody else. and you are never gonna keep the lights on with wind or solar or corn likker or any other "green" deal. carbon- oil, gas, and coal- is the only thing other than nukes that will run a reliable power plant. and nothing makes Americans more free and provides us more liberty than the internal combustion engine. it's about money and control and controlling your money. if there wasn't a way to make money off the deal, nobody would care. Lark.

    One for the memory banks

now that's what i like to see. guys with their prioritys straight and figgerd out. my youngest is 25 and i still look forward to trips to the wild. and pig season is just a special time. i have 3 boys and i always feel sorry for guys that never have kids or just have girls. not that them girls can't hunt or nothin'. take them too. there's just a neat deal between a dad and his boys and a campfire and a tag in the pocket. first time i ever saw my dad shoot a deer i was 7 and he shot a forkhorn coues with his ol' bear grizzly recurve. on the way back to the truck he shot a bobcat with the same arrow. take them kids with ya. learn em up young. and when ya git old they can pack out your stuff, like my boys did on the bull i shot in the sphincter of the world last winter. good job. Lark.
  12. i've kilt b'ars with bows. but it was back in the stoneage. one extree big one i used 2420 xx75's and a 125 grain wasp camlok. full lengthed him from right flank to left shoulder by the neck. bears are no tougher to kill than anything else with a bow. blackies anyway. never chased the brown variety. one thing, when you stick one, take off after him and try to keep him in sight. the fat can close off and they might leave little to no blood trail. don't do the back off and wait deal. good chance you won't find him.
  13. these are a cool critter. sounds like some positive work and improvement of the poor critters. they've picked a tough place to live. Lark. http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/n...6pronghorn.html

    better news

if you have mixed feelings here's another way to look at it. at about the same time this fiasco of a program started the usfw released real live wild wolves they gathered up in canada, in and around yellowstone. they took off and never looked back. the program was so successfull that they are not only no longer endangered and they are actually being hunted. do you know how hard it is to get an animal off the endangered species list? the numbers are several times higher than the target. the huggers don't know what to do because the program actually worked and they are losing the control they had gained and won't have anymore taxpayer money to waste. and they've done some damage to the wildlife in yellowstone. the numbers of all wildlife are really low in yellowstone now. now, compare that story to this crap we have here with these so called wolves. they aren't wild animals, they aren't even wolves. they are crossbred curs that a buncha hippies think they can teach to be wild animals. pen raised, no wild experience, part dog, die from parvo, have to be fed and monitored constantly, taught by hippies, wolf dog crosses. they continue to dump money on a trash fire and now we're looking at losing the heritage fund. granted the wolf money is federal cash and heritage fund is state money, but how much good could have been done with the millions that have been literally thrown away on these stupid dogs. one of the best rules to follow in life is that when you hit the bottom, quit diggin'. it's time to quit diggin' and focus this money and effort on something that has a return. the mexican wolf is extinct. and has been for years. all this program has done is proven that it won't work. something that anyone with any sense knew before it was attempted. Lark.

    good news

sonoran pronghorn are a really unique critter that has seperated from the big herds of goats for a long time. i only know a couple folks that have ever seen one. they are really deserving of some help and it's good to see they're getting some and that it is makin an improvement. Lark.
  16. in the contrary, i don't see skeptics and deniers that are against it but i do see liars and fabricators that are pushing a money exchanging agenda. anytime "scientists" have to phony up data it's because the statistics don't add up in their favor. like they say, lies, dang lies and statistics. like i said many times before, 10,000 years ago most of the U.S. had over 20,000 feet of ice covering it. we've been global warming at least that long. every "fact" that global warming folks come up with can be refuted and proven wrong, or in most cases a lie, with real science and data. this is just a way for the whole world to get the American working people, "taxayers", to send them our money. as long as a few thieves, like al gore make a bunch off it in the process, then it's ok that every taxpayer here has to sacrfice for bums. redistribution of wealth = communism. global warming agenda = redistribution of wealth. Lark.

    Michelle Obama

there used to be some pretty die hard obama supporters on this site. what happened to em? i'd like to see somebody try to justify this. one time me and another guy were reading the paper and sittin' around the office just bein' bums for a few minutes and i read where one of the williams tennis players, venus or serena one, can't remember which one, anyway, she took a bath eveyday in perrier mineral water. cost a couple hunnerd bucks a day. the other guy said "now they're just spendin' money". this is exactly what anyone who would spend that much on one meal is doing. just spending money because they can. even tho it's our money. we raised 5 kids. coulda fed em all, real well and real healthy, for a long time for that much. just spendin' money. guess it's a lot like her ol' man's cure for the economy, spend, spend, spend. again, somebody defend this kinda crap. Lark.

    Berger Bullets

i've reloaded some for my kid's .264. he couldn't get them to hit real well, but his rifle needs a quicker twist to shoot the weight he wanted to use. from what i've read, they're real twist sensitive, but that shouldn't be a problem in .277 cal. you can't argue with the results that others have with them tho. if you get them loaded right i'm sure they'll shoot. a lot of the time when you don't get the accuracy you hoped for with a bullet, the bullet may not be the problem. at least not the whole problem. powder, load, primer, and the ever important overall length can have as much or more to do with it than the bullet. always make sure the bullet is real close to the lands. if you're shooting factory loads, that's hard to do. i'm sure that berger's will work well, but the accubonds should also. just need the right set up. Lark.

  20. screw the courts and lawyers and all that. raffle of tags for these guys and turn em loose. Lark.
  21. far be it for me to side with the azgfd. they have been poorly managed, at best, for decades. but they do have to manage "all" wildlife in Az. not just stuff that gets hunted or angled. snails, frogs, songbirds, squaw fish, chubs, sonoran pronghorn, snakes, lizards, mussels, bats, mice, rats, skunks, talkin' javelinas, etc, etc, etc. but the only guys that contribute to the fund are hunters and anglers. we don't just pay for the stuff that we can hunt and fish, we pay for the management of all animals in Az. at least with the heritage fund some of the liability was spread around to folks who may not ever contribute to wildlife conservation in the state. if they lose the heritage fund, then what hunters and anglers contribute will be the only funds the azgfd gets and it will have to be spread around to try to cover every thing that crawls, creeps, walks, swims or flys in this state. license and tag fees will increase so that hunters and anglers can again pay to take care of everything in the state. the last thing Az needs is any federal help, because they like to make everything an endangered or threatened species and shut down hunting and angling in order protect them. this ain't a good deal. as it is now, every get rich quick dreamer who buys a lottery ticket gets to contribute to Az wildlife conservation.( i buy about 5 a year when it gets real high because i need at least 40 million to do me any good) this ain't good in anyway. well, maybe if they let us have some input into who they lay off, it might make it not hurt so bad. it doesn't bother me a bit to know that a lot of what i pay every year in fees goes to manage animals that i can't shoot or catch. they're all part of the outdoors and i like to see and hear all of em. from slugs to eagles. but i also think that everyone should contribute something. with the heritage fund money, folks that would never contribute, get to. this ain't good. no, ain't good. next thing is the bastards in the capital will take the money we contribute with license and tag fees so they can use it to teach an "illegal alien" to speak english or so they can pay for housing or school lunches or some other crap for people who won't work. stuff that is paid by our other taxes now. you guys remember this crap when it comes time to vote. not just for governor. it has real consequences. and if you don't vote, get somebody to groin kick ya every day until ya do. most of the little programs you see, take the new license plate for instance, are set up to pay for the program. very little of the money actually gets to the land. if your lucky, it will pay administering the program and you get to feel good about doing it. but in actuality, not much ever gets to where they say it's going. but the heritage fund does. as soon as this new sorry excuse we have for a gov started hollerin' about no money, i knew it wouldn't be long. well, it's here. think when ya vote. and make dang sure ya do. i'll makr prediction. we're gonna see an increase in the number of auction tags soon. write it down. Lark.
  22. the people that lost their minds were the jackasses that elected that jackass napalitano twice. she sat around doing absolutely nothing but spend money, while everyone knew this was headed this way and she didn't do a dang thing about it but bail and go to d.c. to join the head jackass. now the whole country knows what we were putting up with. there were quite a few things that could have been done while she was stilll in office but she didn't care because she was headed outta town. votes are like guns. they do nothing but good when you use em correctly and with intelligence. but a dangerous sob when every dumbass over 18 has one. use your vote wisely. this is what happens when a majority doesn't. wonder is sherrif joe is regretting campaigning for nappy yet? Lark.
  23. can you git anything you want on it? like "wolfkilr" or "i8awolf" or "eaglshtr". gameholler oughta get one that says 7mm/08. there ain't nothin' conserves game like them things. Lark.

    new fish and game Gods

i read in the paper the other day that they had to wait a year to make enough money off the tags so they could hire some guys to enforce it. just another tax. tax this tax that. it's a typical gov't program that's main objective is to make new laws and hire new folks to enforce em. a lot like all the different "inspectors" that cities and counties hire. i hate new taxes. tax, tax, tax. gotta end somewhere. i think there needs to be more enforcement to stop folks from tearing up the country on atv's. get sick and tired of seeing where some dumbass tore up a meadow or a road with a quad. but like most laws, the guys that ain't tearin' everthing up get hassled the most. one good thing about this law tho, when i got my ranger i made it street legal and insured and registered it and all that. cost $170 a year to register it. with this new law, it costs the $25 for the off road sticker but the registration went down to like $12 a year. but mark my words, next thing they'll do is they're gonna hassle folks, even us legal folks, for not having highway rated tires. they all say not highway rated on em and they're make a guy park em because of that next. you read it here first. Lark.
  25. no matter what kind ya get somebody will badmouth it. get a good caliber with a good barrel, good trigger, good action and have fun with it. the more powder it holds the better. Lark.
