get a .270. then you're good from chipmunks to rhinos. might be a hair light for timba. but as long as you're good shot, it'll work. Lark. l

you can screw a barrel out of a rifle fairly easy. put a couple thin boards in a vise and clamp em on the barrel real right and put a wrench on the flats of the action and spin it off. they usually aren't real tight. they are machined to real close tolerances so that when the surfaces mate up, they're tight. you can unscrew the barrel and the case should be exposed so can cut the end off it and push the bullet out and then extract whatever is left of the brass. whatever you do, be real careful. Lark.

but the best fix is to unscrew the barrel and turn it into a real gun. a .270. Lark.

that's a good way to get hurt real bad. instead of the bullet going down the barrel, all the explosion is gonna come right back out the action. probly blow your hand off. seriously. Lark.

you can pound a rod down the barrel forever and you won't get it out until you get the bolt rotated back to where it can come open. i've had to do it with a piece of wood on the bolt and a hammer. tap it until the bolt rotates. hopefully it will release from the round. then you can drop a rod down the barrel and get it out. if the bolt locks are rotated into place, you can't get it open until you rotate it back. after you get it open and get the round removed, you need to look at a couple things. overal cartidge length is good place to start. if you loaded em too long and bullet is in the rifles, it can be a pain. also need to make sure you are full lenght resizing the cases. if it isn't an overall length problem, it just about has to be a resizing problem. could also be a neck that is too long. but that is technically a resizing problem. but if your bolt is rotated into the locks, even just a tiny bit, you have to get it rotated back before it will open. whatever you do, be careful and have the muzzle pointed at gamehauler or some other guy that needs shot. Lark.

no wonder the azgfd is always hurtin' for cash. i got 3 checks from em. one for my bighorn rejection. and one for $.50 (fiddy cint, to folks in aj) and one for $.25. don't a stamp cost like 42 cents? i got out the photo copies of all the stuff i sent in and they were all right on as far as the amount. no idea what these refunds are for, but i bet it costs em lot more than 75 cents to administer the checks. Lark.

just houses or outhouses too? Lark. -
it all depends on what day o' the season it is. i hold out for a a 4x4 about 30 inches wide the first day, at least until i see the first buck, and then go back to the old "has he got a fork?" it goes down from there. Lark.
