Like I said in the store, look at your budget, how you want to use it, how much you shoot. I like thunder beast, and if I were a competitive shooter I'd probably shoot TB. I'm a hunter/plinker. I mostly shoot Silencerco. I have suppressors from 4 other manufacturers, 1 of which is not in business anymore. I have 6 Harvesters. I like the weight, the brake on the end, the performance and the cost. They are longer than I'd like, but that's my only negative. They are aluminum, not titanium. That's not a negative for me.

6.5 Urgent need of Hornandy 6.5 Ammo for hunt

When I was on active duty back at Offut, a guy I worked with was on the AF Rifle Team and always made fun of my crappy Ruger 77 25-06. Every deer I shot with it was a one and done. He said he would never shoot a Ruger. Only Remington 700s for this guy. This was back in 96. He had loaded a bunch of 6.5-06 that were too hot. They were either blowing up prior to hitting the target or just not doing any obvious fatal damage to the Nebraska Whitetail population. He called me up, knowing I had filled my 5 tags (1 buck and 4 does. you could buy 2 doe tags, they were buy one get a bonus tag, hence 4 does) and asked to borrow my rifle. He didn't have time to load any new ammo cause the season was closing in a couple days. Sadly I reminded him of his aversion to my crappy Ruger and let him try to figure it out on his own. same guy ridiculed my Bushnell Yardage pro 400, telling me that nobody needed a range finder out to 400 yards, then asked to borrow it. Moral of the story, don't make fun of someone's stuff then ask for help in a time of need. My 6.5CM (aka Bitch Biscuit) has taken 7 game animals this fall, one by me and the rest by nephews, nieces and a friend. All one and done. -
I know Mr Silencer had BCGs but he only had 14.5in barrels and shorter when I was there last. He gets new stuff in all the time.

What pistol do you have and what will it cycle?

Here it is mostly out of good fun. We all have our specific likes and dislikes, but most will go out of their way to help. I have had many face to face transactions on here and have yet to get burned. This year I know of multiple hunts that have been saved due to sharing of ammunition and reloading components. Again, good luck and kill some big Texas deer and hogs. Cant wait to see pics. -
I think you misspelled it, I think its spelled GLOCK.

this forum is a twisted family if you will, we give each other a rasher of crap at times, but when it gets down to the nitty gritty, we help each other. Whether its helping find a wounded animal, recover a broken down vehicle, find ammo or components because you got caught off guard and have an up coming hunt, or buy and sell sometimes overly priced items, and in many other ways, we help each other. Hang around, contribute, be it knowledge, stories of hunts or possibly help someone else out with the other ammo you mentioned in your very first post. Don't roll in here like a carpet bagger, get what you need and leave. Good luck on the hunt in Texas, hope to see pictures -
I have been living in a cave but desperately need you guys who prepared to bail me out. Only snide comments please.

I will probably have to buy new dies, but I thought I'd check here first. I have trade material. Varget, primers, H4350 I need bullets too, but I need to slug the bore to find the right size.

Exactly why I'm slugging it. It's an 1898 built 1894 Winchester.

Dude hops on the first time, asks for something, but doesn't say which cartridge he needs.... and the people asking him to specify are the problem? -
I have powder. The only thing I really need is more 17hmr. I have 2 1lb unopened bottles that I would trade to someone. Let me know.
