Hey, I know that spot.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my 12yo Boerboel last December to cancer too. I cried like a war widow. We looked at GSPs and I decided to try out a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon instead this time. I have had 2 GSPs and loved them, I always wanted to try out a Griff. I had to go to Colorado for mine. 10wks old and she is a riot. Good luck, and again, sorry to hear you lost your friend.

If it''s for a Tikka it will fit a Tikka and nothing else barring some pretty major inletting; the recoil lug is bedded in the stock. I have one of these on my Tikka .270, I like it a lot and that is a nice price. Major inletting or a really big hammer required to fit it to other platforms. What does it weigh? Im considering it for my 243. The stocks of the Tikka are the only thing I dont like.

I unfortunately leave my house for work at 0355 and was getting in my car, when the sky lit up behind me. I turned around and saw it break up. It was pretty cool.

why would anyone want to stay in a heated cabin with electricity, running water and shower and toilet? I love packing my truck with to much gear, but yet forgetting stuff, setting it all up, fixing what breaks, going to bed and waking up cold, killing an animal and having to pack it up with all my gear, after I break camp, on my already overloaded truck/trailer. Too bad I didn't draw my first choice, Unit 1 or I would be hitting you up. Unit 8 will have to do.

I lucked into the chassis, thank you B4Dan, and decided to change one of my rifles around. It has a Leupold Mk4 2.5-8 on it but Im looking at the Zeiss V8 2.8-20 or the new Swarovski Z8i 2-16x50. Stay tuned. -

a doubler in the spot and stalk world is about as useful as a dremel tool is in a machine shop. I mean, you could, but why?
-
It's an addiction. 3 243s and 2 308s. And one 222 rechambered to 223. It was ruined by someone so I figured what the heck.

Who would you recommend locally to have the action trued up? -
Me too. I only have 2 308s. Good hunting
-
Lol. Lance, who talked you into that Jim White doubler? I bet he has changed his views though.
-
I think he meant this one. It still makes me laugh and want to cry at the same time.

great shooting. Could I get a close up of the stock of that bad boy? Interested in the cheek weld. -
What are you hunting? Turkey?

Another route. Can you own chickens? If so they are livestock. You can legally dispatch animals attacking your livestock.
