I'm waiting for the price to come down on the titanium one. 98k is too much, I wouldn't pay more the 98,500. -

I have purchased from 2 dealers. Both have Demo Shoots a couple times a year. I will post when and where they are scheduled if anyone is interested. -

@ CW. Really? When was the last time someone shot at you because you took his spot? Shooting at someone, or intentionally shooting in someones direction to scare them is a felony. Is that what you expect from your fellow hunters? That fear reminds me of all the anti-concealed fears that I have heard over the years. -

I went with the Trust. For me it made sense. Others on my Trust can use them without me being there. When I kick the bucket, my wife/estate/kids will not have to do any transfers. (less 200 bucksx? the ATF won't get) Can be modified without too much trouble. I would have used a LLC as a second choice. On a side note, my stamp for my 22 should be here in the next 2 weeks. It is a long 6 months. Squirrel hunting 22 subsonic/suppressed is going to be AWESOME. Just saying. -
Added pic of rifle with 10rd mag that I will hunt with. Can't really see hunting with a full 30rd mag.
-
I will post some targets as the fun part of the build progresses. Wayno45 asked who built it, and I said I did. What I didn't mention, is that I work part-time at Merchant Firearms and I built the entire top and bottom. If anyone needs parts to build one, let me know. We either have it, or I can help you get it.

My barrel is 1 in 9 so I probably won't go heavier then 85gr. might try up to the V-max 87. Have to paper shoot some before I try them suppressed. Don't want to open my suppressor up with a tumbling bullet.

I ordered the barrel from Blackhole Weaponry. And put it together myself. It is a Seekins SP3R upper with a 12in rail. I have the dies/bullets and lots of spent 223. I like that this isn't a fire formed round. You just press it to 6mm when you remove the spent primer. You don;t have to change the BCG, or the magazine. I basically wanted a 243 out of an AR15 platform without carrying my AR10. I have both a 243 and a 308 upper for my AR10 but it is such a heavy setup. I have a 10rd mag to carry when hunting so it doesn't interfere with the tripod. I have ammo that Les Baer had Blackhills load up, there are groups of people shooting this rifle. I didn't develop it. As for zombie attacks, I have 3 other Ars in 223 but good luck finding ammo at Walmart, then or now.

That can is a HTG Predator. Its titanium and a thread on. Waiting for SWR to release their 762 can. My favorite cans are the 22 ones I have. Make plinking and small game hunting a joy. Swr cycle 2. -

yes to recoil and YES to noise. Although I will deprive my son of being able to claim deafness when his wife wants him to take out the trash or other tasks. The 160+ decibel report of a rifle is rough on ear drums. Even with plugs or muffs you still get blasted with the sound waves and My suppressor only knocks it down to around 129 decibels. This next part is taken from a site dedicated to hearing loss. Even double hearing protection isn't completely effective. http://www.noisehelp.com/double-hearing-protection.html The total protection afforded can't be calculated from the protection levels of the individual devices, because they do not function independently (due to mechanical coupling effects). Also, beyond a certain point, it is not possible to achieve any further attenuation of sound, because even when the airborne pathways have been thoroughly blocked, sound will still be able to arrive at the eardrum by traveling through the skull, via bone conduction.
